Taters — Local services in Boise

Business must be really bad since their shelves are pretty empty, but I'm certain it has something to do with the pathetic service and unfriendly behavior of the elderly woman who works or owns the joint!

For a store that is supposed to sell, promote, offer gifts to outsiders, the staff do a pretty pathetic job of meeting and speaking to foreigners who have the intention of buying idaho souvenirs!

On 05/13 my family and I walked into the store only to be started down and blatantly being ignored by the woman who works there, we left and went down the road and bought possibly better variety and quality of Idaho souvenirs.

I feel sorry for people who feel that service should differ based on race and cast! What a pitty!

Where do I even start!? This company has the best customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a birthday gift for my husband and I was concerned it might not arrive on time, so I emailed the company and asked if they could get it to me in 6 days or so. About 30 minutes after I emailed, Taters, they called me and told me they would go to the post office that day and send my items right away. Also the option I had set on my order was for a fed ex delivery and would have been twice the post office cost so they told me they would refund the shipping cost to me. This place had some ADORABLE potato stuff. Anything from food, to jams, to stuffed plushies, and pretty much anything else you could possibly imagine. It was a very short drive from the interstate and it gave me a chance to experience downtown Boise, Idaho. The store was very clean and well kept. They could use a bit more merchandise, as the store seemed a little empty. The only really merch they had were on the side of the walls, nothing really in the center of the store. But I still loved it. The prices here are about average in most of the things. Definitely a cute place to stop if you are looking for anything...
