7-Eleven — Local services in Boston

This store is not, nor has it ever been, open 24hrs. As numerous others have pointed out it’s open from 7am-11pm. But to be safe I would plan on no later than 10:55pm. If you miss it or go there thinking it’s 24hrs only to be confronted with disappointment then your alternative for the closest actual 24hr store to this location is the CVS in Copley Plaza. I’m not quite sure why Google Maps won’t update the hours. I’m sure many of us have sent them edits over the years but obviously to no avail. Now the good news is that they have a great variety and a little bit of just about anything you could want from a convenience store. They sell beer, wine And liquor at this location. Decent selection of Hagen Dazs ice cream as well as store brand and others. Fresh items that they work hard to update daily…sandwiches, fruit, baked goods etc. And apparently it’s a hot spot for producing scratch ticket winners. Personally I don’t play but a guy I know has had 2 triple digit winners and a 4 digit winner all in the last year from this location. I went there earlier today after leaving CVS. I got $20 cash back at the CVS counter. I went into this store. When I entered the clerk was sitting down, fine. However when I was at the counter he didn't even bother getting up even after I made eye contact with him. I attempted to pay for my purchase. The clerk then told me that he couldn't take my money. I asked why, he said because I wrote on the bill. I took the bill and looked at it closer and said are you joking. I asked him several times where his pen was that validated Currency. He looked around but couldn't find it. He snatched back my purchase. He then began yelling. "You! You wrote on the money. It's not real. I'm like what? I didn't write on it. Then he continued to yell and POINT his finger at me. I was humiliated. The man behind me asked the clerk about then pen and also expressed confusion about him not taking it. I had to file a complaint with 7/11 regarding the cashier not knowing how to do a service offered by this particular store. This store says they’re able to process rent payments with cash and all you have to do is scan a barcode. However, when I went in the cashier kept dismissing me because he didn’t know how to do what I was asking and even asked me to step out of line to take other customers after only talking to me for 2 minutes. When I asked if there was anyone else in the store like a manger or something that would know how to help me the cashier informed me he was the only one in the store. He wasn’t able to help and there were no other employees that could help so I unfortunately had to leave without resolving the issue. There’s not an ounce of customer service in this location and it’s honestly disappointing that with all the negative reviews I’m seeing, that no one has done...
