Summary: Don't get fooled by manipulative disingenuous scam artists like them.

Context: We were extremely excited to pick up a pair of the Jason Tatum Welcome to the Garden shoes this morning. We got in line early ended up being 16th out of 150-200 people, so we felt pretty good about it. The owners and staff watched us customers for 3+ hours standing in line in the rain and cold. EXCEPT we never had a chance at the sneakers because hidden on their website not in the actual post about the sneakers they held a raffle for people to get them. 200 people waiting and the owners and staff said nothing. they did however get to use us for pictures and videos which I am sure they will put on their Instagram to provide the illusion that they are so great and people should be lucky to have the shoes and come in. when in fact most of the people you see waiting in line were scammed and had their time wasted only to find out that it was Raffle winners only that were allowed to buy the shoes. How did we find out about this condition? not because the employees said anything but because we over heard from the raffle winners leaving the store. I will certainly never support this brand again and I would encourage you all to do the same. Please refer to the pictures of their post to prove my point. To the store owner or manager who responds, don't run your name through the mud more by saying that it was clear on your website, it wasn't you had 12-16 people show up as raffle winners and you brought them from the back of the line to the front shamelessly while you watched everyone else who had been waiting, continue to wait while you...

This is one of the best independently owned businesses in Boston. I’ve been back time and time again. Always appreciate their customer service too. Anyone who needs new sneakers, I always bring them here. My 73 year old mom bought sneakers here that she loved that the young hip sales kid helped her out and was so kind to her. Their sneaker releases are iconic and too many to name. Their clothes are always on point, especially their internal designs. Always high quality, stylish and price-accessible. What prompted me to write this review though was an experience I had with the sales rep who introduced himself as AB (it was busy so not sure if this is correct but he had the long braids). He went out of his way to find the right size, color and price of the shirt I wanted. I asked him about the music that was playing and she showed my fiancé’s the DJs Instagram account. He had a natural sales ability that’s hard to train because he was a genuine dude and you can’t teach that. After I got rang up, he introduced himself to me and shook my hand as I was leaving. I manage over 150 sales reps and managers and would be proud to have a guy like...

Very disappointed in CNCPTS. I've been a Tatum fan for awhile but had never heard of CNCPTS before. So, when I read they would be launching a special edition of his shoe I started following all their socials trying to get as much info as I could. Throughout the entire build up to the release they provided information making it sound like you could show up at the store and purchase a pair on the release date. However, days before, they announced it would be an online drawing without providing more info on how to enter or when the drawing would be done. Then, without any prior explanation of how to enter they opened the drawing for only 30 minutes. I missed it which I was sad but okay with, but I was upset they released so much info beforehand making it sound like you could show up at the store to get a pair which many people did and wasted their time since they didn't follow every last post from CNCPTS. Seems like a deceptive company that doesn't care about...

Store: hip and trendy. If you’re looking for newly released sneakers, the likelihood you’ll find them there is slim to none. It definitely seems like they hook up the regulars you’re not getting anything coming off the street but that’s totally the sneaker industry back door sales. Employees : everybody was extremely nice, and the barista upstairs was amazing. She made a good mocha. but there is so much staff it’s not even funny you kind of feel like you’re being stared at as if you’re a thief or they’re just waiting to sell you something it’s also a smaller store so they feel like they’re standing in your back pocket. I highly recommend going in and taking a walk around. It’s definitely worth it.

I thought the curation in the store was pretty nice, they were a lot of pieces I liked which isnt always the case with streetwear shops. They had selections of Marni, rick owens, etc. and some more affordable labels too. The shoe selection was not bad but they dont have too many sizes or options- pretty hit and miss, but good for browsing. Took a while to be helped but the staff was at least apologetic about it
