I experienced the true miracle of Easter. I happened to park in front of this church in early morning hours. I was exploring the Newbury street and the commonwealth avenue. As I was approaching my car on my way back, I could have sworn I heard angelic voices in my earphones that weren't part of my audiobook. Apparently I wasn't losing it yet! It was a voice of one of the choral singers practicing in her car. After a bit of chat she invited me into the church for the easter rehearsal. Wonderful smiling deacon Bob made sure I felt really welcome. After learning that I wasn't going to stay for the 10 o'clock service ( I had to go visit my brother's family and wake up my children at the hotel) Bob offered me a communion. Then he introduced me to the priest and I got a wonderful history tour of the church. But the miracle doesn't stop there. Bob and Jane convinced me to stay until the beginning of the service to witness a beautiful procession of the animals. What a spectacular display of human warmth and holiday blessings, this is My favorite place now and forever when I come visit Boston.

The Bach Cantata Series are such a treat to the community at large. I also like this church, because it is modern in the right aspects - it is progressive; yet the service is traditional and transports you to that perfect place that allows for connection with our inner faith.

Went to their weekly Wednesday art day through Common Cathedral. I was hoping to meet up with people and feel like I had community. Instead all the staff and all the guests ignored me even when I was crying. Maybe it was because my arm was in a brace or I was wearing a rainbow bracelet. Such a GORGEOUS Church! 😍❤ I actually go to the AA Meeting there on Thursday nights! And they have multiple AA, I believe NA as well, meetings there during the week including weekends.. But you'll definitely enjoy the scenery and around it are MANY Shops & Restaurants close by as well! The location is AMAZING & very high end for sure!! You will LOVE Emmanuel Episcopal Church its suuuuper...
