I worked with Doruk from the Newbury street location to purchase 8 dinning chairs for our kitchen table and dining room.

Most important to me was comfort, so I had to find a brick and mortar store that had the chairs on hand so I could sit in them to see how comfortable they were. I tried many different places including Room and Board, Interior Define, Crate and Barrel, and IKEA, all very different price point brands, but I could not find anything I liked. I found the chairs were either far too expensive, over stylized, too small, too big, basically I must be Goldilocks…lol.

I walked into Lazzoni on a whim and I was pleased to find they had only three styles of chair, all thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. Rather than try to make something for every style and every body size, they had worked to find out what made a chair comfortable for the majority of people and had chosen styles that were clean and universally stylish. I was impressed and grateful not to be overwhelmed by choices.

Doruk showed me a range of fabric samples and I left with a catalog and a handful of samples to show my husband. I left my email and promised to send dimension and a photo of the tables we already owned. I was surprised and pleased when Doruk got back to me with a rendering of a dining room that featured one of the colors I had loved but had dismissed as too bold. A thoughtful and attentive salesperson he had been paying attention to my reactions even when I was sort of talking to myself.

We went back and fourth a few more times with different colors for the arm chairs and I sent a photo of the rug to see if the colors were a good fit, and every time he sent a new updated rendering. It was so helpful and such fantastic full service.

We waited the full 16 weeks for the chairs to come. I got an email from Doruk at 12 weeks saying they were on their way from the factory in Turkey. A month later he called again with a one hour delivery window. I’m so used to all the automation these days that I was surprised that he was following his order to the end. The chairs arrived as scheduled, they unwrapped them and placed them around the tables. They look fantastic, exactly as I expected. The quality is wonderful. The kid food hand prints wipe right off the leatherette. When we eat dinner at home I feel comfortable and relaxed like I used to only enjoy at a fancy meal out. A Design Team That Listens We were particularly impressed with our designer, Sofia. She has a great eye for design and was patient with us as we narrowed down our vision for a modern aesthetic. Sofia didn't just try to sell us furniture; she took the time to understand our needs and preferences. Lazzoni's design software was a game-changer. It allowed Sofia to easily drag-and-drop different furniture options into a 3D rendering of our floor plan. This made it so much easier to visualize the final product and ensure everything would fit perfectly in our space.

High-Quality Furniture with Modern Style With Lazzoni's semi-custom furniture, there is a broad array of very well-curated materials. It’s hard to go wrong with their combination of high-quality fabrics, leathers, and hardwoods. What particularly impressed me was the hardwood veneers. They have a beautiful texture and richness that I haven't seen elsewhere. The build quality is also top-notch, and the furniture feels substantial.

A Seamless Installation Process The Lazzoni installation team was just as impressive as the design team. Lazzoni uses their own trucks and staff, which instilled confidence in the process. They arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently to install the furnishings in our entire 3-bedroom apartment over two days. The team was incredibly meticulous and cleaned up and stayed organized over the two days. The large amount of packing material was all removed by the install team. Lazzoni has also made it very clear that they stand behind their products, offering after-sales support should we need it.

Overall Impression Overall, I cannot recommend Lazzoni Boston enough. Their modern furniture is exceptional quality with a beautiful aesthetic, and their design and installation teams are professional and efficient. I was shopping for furniture to renovate my living room, however, I had many customized needs, which was disappointing from big name furniture stores, except Lazzoni in Boston! They were incredible. They worked on my living room design withe their state of art computing program and personalized approach with home visit. Without any buying pressure, they made variety of suggestions with being flexible nearly on every topic including size, color, style, number of piece alterations etc. They literally made a customized living room furniture with very reasonable pricing. Notably, they did delivery of these italian-style customized delivery in 8 weeks. In summary I recently visited Lazzoni furniture store in Boston and bought a living room (Gola and Mony were my favorites) and was thoroughly impressed with their selection and customer service. The store had a wide variety of stylish and modern furniture pieces that were perfect for my home. The sales staff was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable, and they took the time to understand my needs and preferences to help me find the perfect pieces for my space. I was particularly impressed with the high quality of the furniture, which was beautifully crafted and looked even better in person than it did online. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Lazzoni and would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for new furniture.
