Le Labo — Local services in Boston

Yay! I didn't quite enjoy the Le Labo on Newbury Street due to the crowds and its basement setting, but the one at Seaport is bright and tranquil. 😌 The salesperson Andrew was so helpful! He was extremely patient and passionate about this brand. He seemed to be familiar with each perfume and made great recommendations, which gave me a better understanding of each scent. So great!

I've been on the hunt for a good summer scent, and their Bergamot has always been my go-to. 🍊 Today, I discovered "THÉ MATCHA 26" and fell in love! Thank you, Andrew, for helping me find the perfect fragrance. I had a fantastic experience at Le Labo Seaport! 💕

After Andrew's successful help in selecting The Matcha 26 as my summer scent, I returned to Le Labo for another exciting fragrance journey. This time, I delved into the world of Le Labo City Exclusives. These fragrances were originally crafted exclusively for specific cities worldwide, each capturing the essence and character of its unique location.

Once again, Andrew provided invaluable assistance, guiding me to discover the ideal scent for the upcoming fall season – Mousse De Chene 30. This fragrance is a neo-chypre masterpiece, harmonizing moss, patchouli, crystal moss, clearwood, cinnamon, pimento bay oil, and pink pepper. The result is a blend of tradition and innovation, offering both comfort and surprise.

Already fondly familiar with the brand and owning products for years now, I ventured into the the Le Labo Seaport location to inquire about a particular product. Sèmi with his very calming, inviting demeanor guided me to test the product on my skin. I wasn't completely sold so I asked Sèmi did he have or know of any customers that were either devoted or repelled by the product. Sèmi explained that he did in fact have a few devoted customers and had actually never received any negative press over the product but assured me just the same that the brand would absolutely stand behind it if I turned out to be its' first objector. I had reservations about the scent. I somehow expected something more feminine and not of unisex/universal variety. Well, I did purchase the product and the wonderful scent ended up being the converter for me! While standing in an elevator, I can often tell people get whiff of something very pleasant and are trying to determine where the scent is coming from. It's me! I'll walk into a space and smell something distinctly Le Labo and after a few moments, I remember, that yummy scent is me! It's me! This review is 100% dedicated to the best Le Labo representative Andrew. My boyfriend and I can undoubtedly see why a hard worker like him has a five paragraph review already posted on both Yelp and Google. Considering his impeccable knowledge regarding literally every single scent even the home fragrances, he must have been working here for ages. He is a pro with the notes in all city exclusives and miraculously knew which ones we would enjoy (Musc and Myrre) after hearing about which exclusives we were stuck between. We admire that he knew which scents would project well. His smile and voice were very welcoming and his minimalist outfit matched the store aesthetic unbelievably well.
