I have never written a review before, but I felt too strongly about my negative experience.
While I was at Mei's, the barber spent 15 minutes talking to a friend instead of serving me, his only customer in the shop. When he finally finished his conversation, the barber gave me a dirty barber cloth that a previous customer had used. He proceeded to ignore all of my instructions on how to cut my hair (he decided to go three times shorter than I wanted on the sides and top). This was the result of either poor communication, memory, or care. Maybe he didn't know how to cut hair or just wanted to go rogue. Whichever the case, this is not what you want from a barber.

Edit: still the same. However, I've only seen the owner now. Still meticulous cutting for affordable prices. The owner knows a bit of English as well. I still come here for my haircuts while...

I believe both speak Mandarin as well as Cantonese, so if you speak either, you’ll have an easier time communicating than I do. If not, you’ll have to make do with showing pictures or relying on the English speaker to translate. But great quality for the price, very much...
