This review started when I walked in late September 2021 with the intent of purchasing my first Rolex as a birthday gift. After entering I was greeted promptly by Marc my sales associate. I let Marc know that I am interested in a men’s watch and was told they are currently out of stock. I then asked what they have for women’s models and he said there are currently three in stainless steel. Already in a buying mode I looked at all three and landed on a DateJust 28mm w/diamond markers and jubilee so I phoned my wife to come in. I had her try on the watch and asked if she likes it and once she smiled and said “yes its very nice” I asked Marc to size up the watch! My wife looked at me and said “really? Are you serious, no?” She was elated and surprised to get her first Rolex. After the purchase I continued to correspond with Marc on specific references and was assured he will keep me in mind.
Six months passed with multiple visits and conversations in-between but still no men’s watches as demand is at an all-time high. My 10yr anniversary arrived and I was scrambling for a gift idea and ended up working with Marc again who was happy to show me what was available. I was between a women’s DateJust green dial or blue dial and ended up choosing the blue dial 31mm with roman numerals and jubilee as this was the configuration I wanted for myself. The watch went over very well during dinner and she now has two Rolex DateJust watches but zero for me if your keeping count. I have since messaged Marc countless times on availability but was told there are none in the color configuration I was interested in. After a few more messages and weeks I loosened up on my desired configuration and received a message from Marc on an incoming men’s DateJust in jubilee bracelet with fluted bezel in slate gray dial 41mm. Marc invited me to come see it in person and I brought my wife and child to share this special occasion. The feeling of having a sales professional dress your wrist and clasp the bracelet for you is quite the experience. I immediately felt enamored and a sense of achievement.

The approach I received was rushed, impersonal and I was definitely profiled for not being dressed to a certain standard. To this day no news on availability even after calls to the boutique.
I initially made an appointment to come into the boutique a in late January/early February 2022 to inquire about a Rolex Explorer II. As I was greeted at the door by the security I could already tell I was being profiled for being a young man looking for watches in this price range. I'm generally dressed down but that should not be the welcome received as I'm trying to spend thousands with your boutique.
I was eventually greeted by Radwan (Boutique Manager according to his business card) who took me to a case to view a black Explorer II. The whole interaction took maybe 10 minutes at most and he seemed extremely uninterested even after noting an Omega on my wrist and me stating this was a 30th birthday present for myself. I was told that this boutique does not have a waitlist but he will let me know when one is available, the catch, he never suggested taking down my name until offered that information. He almost unwillingly took it and I could already tell that I should not expect to be notified with regards to the availability of the watch. I understand availability is low but such a rushed and impersonal approach left a bad taste in my mouth. Radwan was nice enough to say that I should pop in when I'm in the area or call to find out if there are any updates. This further solidified that I was not going to get a call regarding availability even though he said my 6 month timeline was very reasonable.
Since my initial visit I have called twice in 2 months (not trying to be annoying) and been told that I will get a call back from Radwan but to this day I have not received said callbacks. Moving forward this has left me with a very bad impression of Rolex and specifically this boutique and I have moved forward with purchasing another watch from a different brand to mark...
