Welcoming staff...Came in for a quick gel manicure. She quoted a reasonable price so I stayed. While sitting I observed the atmosphere and interactions with other patrons and decided on a second service. I accepted her price quote and I was satisfied with the 2nd service except as I exited I spotted a small pink menu at the door.... She overcharged me 20.00. And I tipped 10 MORE for eyelash extensions. Duped but I am to blame for not READING! Currently looking elsewhere for my refill but I really wanted to like this place. UPDATE

Here we are in 2022 and I stuck it out and I am NOW A FOREVER REGULAR. I even come from RHODE ISLAND. Lynn AND the owner are always available to me and the initial pricing error was not intentional. Lynn does my full lash extensions and brows also!! They are funny, friendly, and always make you feel pampered no matter which services you come in for. Prices are reasonable and 10 stamps on your card gets a great discount. Make an appointment because you never know when they’re busy. Located just @ the corner from AMTRAK, you can grab a service before or after boarding…. 5...

I so rarely post but this was pretty terrible. I had never been here before but I was in need of a quick mani. I called and asked if they had a quick dry polish like dazzle dry, and although they didn't have that brand, she said they did have a quick dry polish. When I got there, it was obviously a lie - it was just OPI. She had some kind of top coat, but it definitely was not quick dry. In any case, I didn't have time to find another salon, so I just went with it. The mani was ok, but since I figured that I'd be there for far longer than I had initially counted on, I'd get eyebrow threading since it had been awhile. Big mistake!! Not only did she make my eyebrows crooked, uneven and jagged, she also was so unskilled that she made my skin bleed. Horrendous. I'll never go back and I'd advise anyone not to go to this dishonest salon...and definitely do not use their eyebrow threading services. They get 2 stars for the manicure...

I've only written two bad reviews in my life and this is one of them. I usually try to avoid going here even though I live very close by because of the consistent poor quality and customer service. I'd rather take the T to Southie for much better quality and overall excellent job for a good price. I recently went in just to get my gel nail polish removed, no new polish. They charged me $15 when every other place I've gotten this done is only $10. Then when I asked if they could cut my nails they told me they would charge $15 MORE!! So basically, they would charge me $30 to remove my polish and cut my nails but $25 to do all that plus regular polish. Made absolutely no sense. Then at the end they had the nerve to mention adding a tip. Overall, they only care about the money and don't care about their customers even though it's consistently empty when I go in, which should say something. Don't waste your time going here. The convenience is...
