I recently visited the store with my friend to pick up a necklace and bracelet she had ordered, and once again, we had an incredible experience with Sophia! As soon as we sat down, she warmly offered us drinks and chocolates. She then helped my friend try on the bracelet and necklace to see if any adjustments were needed. Even though I didn’t ask, Sophia kindly offered to clean the bracelets I was wearing, since they hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
While packing up my friend’s order, she thoughtfully reminded us to take a look at the turquoise pieces on display. Her passion and knowledge about the brand truly shine through in everything she does. Before we left, Sophia even arranged the products and flowers beautifully so we could take photos. Since neither of us are great photographers, she took the initiative and used my friend’s phone to capture some lovely shots for her.
On the way to the car, my friend said how much she appreciated Sophia’s service and that she hopes Sophia never leaves the store—she wants to come back to her for every future purchase. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: there may be many VCA stores in the world, but there’s only one Sophia. If you're looking for an exceptional shopping experience,...
Read moreWe visited and made a purchase on Friday afternoon Sept 6th, 2024. The sales representatives were fine but the security guy at the doorway was snobbish and rude and seemed anxious to sign off for the day. Upon us entering, his first question was "Do you have a reservation?" without any greetings and obviously lost interest in us the moment we answered no.
He also locked the door early while there were still customers in the shop. And when I tried to exit, he wasn't even at the door waiting to unlock it, which should be his job. Instead, he just uttered "hold on" and MADE ME WAIT for him to come to the door and didn't even bother to explain/apologize for anything at all. Not "Let me help you with that" Not "Thank you for your visit". He acted as if it's his right to lock customers inside the shop. I wonder if this guy used to work in a prison. Is this Van Cleefs & Arpels' attitude to paying customers? I hope not. But this is what the security guard made us feel.
Unless you like their jewelry so much that you enjoy being treated like a prisoner and abused by a condescendingly snobbish warden, I don't recommend ever coming to this...
Read moreI visited the boutique on Christmas Eve of 2023 and had the best experience. Coming from Vermont, I was hesitant to visit the boutique to exchange an item I bought online because of the feedback I read here. I thought of visiting a boutique in NY instead. But I took the risk as these are just comments and some might not be true at all. Based on what I experienced, everyone was helpful. Chris the receptionist accommodated me even though I didn’t have an appointment with them (I know that booking is required but I took my chance anyway and I set my expectations that I might not be assisted on the day) I’m glad they were able to squeeze me in. Chris made me feel welcome and offered me something to drink while I waited for an available representative. Jun was the salesperson/representative who assisted me. He was so nice and provided excellent customer service. Angela, who I think is the manager came in to help as well. They provided me with different options about my request for an item exchange. I recommend that anyone around the area should visit them. Everyone is helpful. And trust me, everyone is knowledgeable and...
