I saw some cute Korean baby clothing outside of the store and decided to purchase two items. However, right after paying and leaving the store, I noticed another adorable dress. I approached the owner or manager and asked if I could exchange it (as the dress I wanted to exchange was cheaper than the one I had purchased). Unfortunately, she informed me that it was a final sale and she couldn't assist me with the exchange. I explained that only 30 seconds had passed and requested her to allow me to make the change.

Surprisingly, she refused, stating that she was unable to handle the POS system. I couldn't believe it!

I asked her if the dress I want to exchange is cheaper than the one I purchased. I suggested that it would be acceptable to receive a store credit for the price difference. However, she refused and I found her decision to be unwise. If she had given me a store credit, I would have had no option but to return and buy another dress. Right?

I wasn't looking for a refund or to complain, I simply wanted to exchange the dress. I mentioned that this was not right according to the law, but she responded that she was unaware of the law and couldn't do anything for me. I felt extremely disappointed and asked for a refund, but she insisted that she couldn't help me due to the store's policy. I'm unsure why she responded this way. Should I request a stop payment from my bank? What should I do? Overall, this experience was unsatisfying!
