I’m marking this as 3 stars because of a personal experience I had. I’ve always gone here for anything k pop related and this was my first time coming in and feeling immediately uncomfortable. I, a male, came in with a tote that has all my belongings as my pants didn’t have enough space and it was a trigger that led to the man working to follow me in the store. It’s a small space however, I felt cornered as he was standing at least somewhere in my path. I decided to call him out and he told me that bags are not allowed or to be left at the front.

I’ve brought my bag with me multiple times and the girl who is usually there has never told me this and there were other people in the store with bags too. I didn’t understand why he had to tell this just to me and told him all my belongings are inside and that other people have bags as well (mainly woman). He said it was “okay” for this one time and that he had 10 people already try to steal with a tote like mine.

I felt severely hurt and almost wanted to leave the store being profiled by someone in the store because I’m a minority male.

It’s a beautiful store and I still go here and have a great time if the cashier girl is there, but please that sometimes you will be followed...

WARNING TO KPOP BUYERS!! CHECK PRICES OF OTHER STORES AND THE ONLINE PRICES BEFORE COMING HERE! I went to this store after checking that the albums I wanted were in stock even posters but they said they didn't have it and I should have just came earlier to get it, BUT STILL TOLD ME TO PAY FULL PRICE AS IF I WERE BUYING POSTER. so I asked to price match with the website price since it would be reasonable to do so but they had that attitude of I don't really care it you buy from me, saying I should just buy it online. every single time i went, they never have posters for any album I wanted. the store quality itself is pretty sketchy and most albums were in mid conditions, some had dust others ripped packaging honestly disheartening. I ended up going to a different store that although the tax price is higher it's in way better condition and I ended up buying my albums for cheaper, if you guys have the time to drive like 15 more minutes, go to kpop republic please. their website is always updated, usually has a lot in stock, and is actually honest with you with quality customer service. you can see how much ofa difference it is. this side of this place should honestly be shown more. I see so many 5 star reviews for this place, but they never really have 5 star fit quality. I hope people do more research before buying their albums and...

KPOP STANS & BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Terrible experience with this shop online. They mailed out two kpop cds at over 50 dollars total and did not even bother to put basic US postal insurance on the mailed package. Instead they shipped it as media mail (which frankly benefits the BUSINESS not the buyer in this instance since they charged me handling fees too so more expensive than regular media mail.). Thanks to this unprofessional practice my items were stolen by someone in my building upon arrival. US postal does not investigate media mail fraud and this shop will not even honor a resend unless I pay them more uninsured shipping and handling (WHY WOULD I EVER?), despite the fact I contacted them to alert them there was an address transcription error in order to prevent the theft beforehand. They did not care and gave no assistance and my items were subsequently stolen after the postal carrier could not be convince to track an uninsured media mail. I contacted my card company but this business is lying AND PLACED THE BLAME ON ME. So no albums, no refund, their site does not even use Paypal (again more UNINSURED shipping/business practices) so they are sure to rip you off with no penalties or recourse.
