In-sīt Coffee — Restaurant in Buena Park

In-sit is a terrific coffee shop in Buena Park full of modern personality and strong flavors. Going to do the usual COVID-19 update and pre-COVID-19 review below:

COVID-19 Update: In-sit currently is taking orders through the Yelp app and via phone for pickup or delivery. Super speedy and super kind service. They seem to have all their current coffee / eats available. I got my usual favorite, the Kyoto Cold Brew, which isn't too dark and just right for my coffee tastes. They also have bigger sizes available like the quart size for around $15ish (might be a little off) and comes in a nice stable glass.

To get to In-sit, you need to get to the fourth level of the Source. Easiest way is to go to the parking structure, get to level 4 and walk inwards towards the theater on the left-hand side. Hard to miss.

Pre-COVID-19 Review: In-sit coffee was one of my favorite cafes in Buena Park. Not only were the drinks great but the modern set-up was clean and gorgeous. Music was never too loud and most of the people here are fairly quiet, studying or doing some light chit-chat. WiFi was pretty stable and seats were usually filled but had some sort of seating available like one of the bar stools or comfy plush chairs.

Slowly getting back into cafe hopping again. I'm a crackhead for caffeine, and I love trying new coffee shops. My bf and I were Yelping, and we found this spot nearby, so we came here after lunch.

Parking: This coffee shop is located in The Source. Free parking garage.

Ambiance/Environment: You can find this spot on the 3rd floor. It was extremely packed and busy when we visited at 16:15. They have a medium sized space with lots of indoor seating. Limited outdoor seating. There were many people studying & working. Safe to say they have a studious environment. Very clean & modern inside.

Service: The cashier was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended us some popular drinks. Throughput was quick after ordering.

Drinks:

1. Sweet Hojicha Latte - My bf ordered this hot and size large. The hojicha was smoky and sweet. He liked that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, so he could still taste the hojicha.

2. Spanish Latte - This was recommended to me. I ordered this in a size large with easy ice. It had a good amount of sweetness from the condensed milk, topped off with a pinch of cinnamon.

Pricing: Prices were average $$. We enjoyed our drinks. Will definitely come back to try their food...

In-Sit Coffee in Buena Park Source Mall is a true standout, especially if you’re catching a movie at the nearby CGV Theater. Conveniently located, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delightful beverage before showtime.
