I underwent milia treatment at this place a week ago. Since they operate by appointment, I had to make a $300 deposit before visiting. Manager Kayla mentioned that if I had a few moles on my face, they could remove them as well, to which I agreed. Upon arrival, a numbing cream was applied, and an hour later, the laser specialist came in to perform the procedure. After returning home, I noticed that most of the milia were not removed; only about two milia and eight moles had been treated with the laser. I immediately contacted the manager that day. The procedure was last Friday, and by Wednesday of this week, I hadn't received any response, so I reached out again. The manager responded on Thursday, stating that the bumps on my face were not milia but whiteheads. She said that to address them, I would need to undergo skincare treatments where the specialist would extract them manually. She requested an additional $200, which I declined. If they had identified these as whiteheads from the beginning and extracted them manually, I wouldn't have incurred double the cost. As I'm not a professional, I didn't know whether the white bumps on my face were milia or whiteheads. The professionals should have assessed and treated them appropriately. Instead, they removed a few unwanted moles and two milia, charging me $300. Had they informed me from the start that these were whiteheads and offered manual extraction, I wouldn't have had to follow up again. I feel like I've wasted my money. The milia remain on my face. I will never return to this place. When friends ask, I tell them to avoid this place entirely. No matter how upset I am, I've never written a negative review before. I don't want to waste my time writing such things. While this review may not matter to you, I felt compelled to share my experience. I'm disappointed with your service, where you prioritize payment without proper care, perform procedures haphazardly without clear understanding, and delay responses after receiving payment.

I am writing this again after seeing the owner's reply below. I paid $300 to have the Milia removed and this is not a free service. The free service you mentioned in number 1 is something you are mistaken about and I hope you will write after understanding it correctly. I wrote the post without any lies. I don't want to talk to you anymore, so please stop writing as if you were nice.

You wrote that you removed the sebaceous milia remove for free, and if I hadn't seen your reply and refuted it, other people would have known that I got the service for free. You made me out to be a liar. I paid $300 to get the sebaceous milia removed, and you are covering my eyes and hoping that everyone will be fooled. I told everyone around me not to go to your center. I will continue to tell you. Don't disappoint me by replying anymore. I don't feel like talking to you anymore. You made people around you leave fakegood reviews and I believed those fake reviews and it was my fault.

Read moreI absolutely love 17 MedSpa!
I have been going to 17 Med Spa for about 5 months for Picoway laser treatment to address my hyperpigmentation. I was skeptical at first, but the results have been amazing! Sarah, one of the managers, recommended that I do at least 5 sessions to see results, and she was right. I started seeing dramatic improvements after my 4th session. My coworkers, friends, and family have all commented on how clear and glowing my skin looks.
I was so happy with the results of the Picoway laser treatment that I met with Liana, one of the owners of 17 Med Spa, to discuss other treatments I could pursue. Liana was incredibly informative and answered all of my questions, even the silly ones. She was also very kind and attentive to my needs. I appreciated that she wasn't pushy about selling me any particular treatments and instead offered her advice based on what she thought would be best for me.
The facility at 17 Med Spa is beautifully designed and very serene. It never feels crowded or hectic, which is a big plus for me. I've been to other medical spas that felt like I was in a fast food chain, but 17 Med Spa is definitely not like that.
Overall, I've had a wonderful experience at 17 Med Spa. The treatment options are great, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable (Hi Mia!), and the facility is beautiful. I would highly recommend 17 Med Spa to anyone looking for a medical spa...
Read moreThis was my first time getting laser hair removal and it was a terrible experience at 17 MedSpa.
As I made way over to my treatment, I was greeted by the workers in a very callous manner. The employee who operated the laser treatment on me did not prep or explain to me what was going to happen during the session. She merely advised me to lie down.
Immediately after my session, I felt the back of my calf, where my tattoo was, stinging and in pain.
It being my first time having laser hair removal, I thought what I was feeling was normal post procedure but I was wrong. I get home and later that night, in the area where I felt the burning sensation, I saw a blister brought on by being burnt!
believe some of the workers DO NOT have a license to operation the laser machine given the burns turned blisters on my tattoo.
Note: At the time of my treatment, I was unaware but laser hair removal cannot be performed on the area that is tattooed.
The powerful and advanced technology used in hair removal lasers targets pigmentation deep in the hairs to damage and destroy the follicles. If the laser is used over an area that is tattooed, the pigment in the ink will be targeted, resulting in burning, pain, and severe...
