This Flip does a flip for Flippoly's Egg Flips
Scouring for an eatery option at The Source, most of them, both in the food courts & out, were more than I was looking to spend. Hence, my quest led me to Flippoly. Starting at $7.49 and ranging up to $9.49, a tasty, filling meal can be had.
Ham Cheese Egg Flip- In between brioche toast, lies cheddar cheese, sliced ham, scrambled eggs, house sauce & parsley. Heavy & dense, the egg flip was wonderfully delicious. The fluffy eggs & ham contrasted with the thick, crunchy brioche toast. The melted cheese & house sauce made sure to make things messy. And, parsley added that touch of garnish to round things out.
Service was good. Arriving fortuitously without a line, the Ham Cheese Egg Flip was made pronto. The calorie-busting sandwich is expertly packaged to keep things from going everywhere. Pay photo booths are available to make silly faces while there.
Dem Egg Flips are good, yo'! Flippoly is a great food option at The Source. Without having to spend much dough, you can get an extremely satisfying meal, both in quantity & quality. I'm looking to go all out next time, ordering the Bulgogi Egg Flip. I know I'll be delightfully eating, and not needing anything else for a good long...

On this visit, I just wanted to try the bacon and egg sandwich and a dalgona coffee. I'll start with the coffee: observed that the drink was majority milk (maybe 90% milk and 10% coffee) topped with freeze dried dalgona coffee crisps on top. Looked nice, tasted pretty much milky, and the coffee taste was semi-existent.
The sandwich: large enough to share between two people, could easily be smashed across your mouth with the sweet mayonnaise smeared across your cheeks. Gushy, warm, and cheesy mouth feel with the sweetness of the brioche bread overpowering the saltiness of the bacon. 🥓🍳🥪
Overall, Sammies are solid but a bit sweet for me. Would enjoy a more savory sandwich that would satisfy the meaty umami side of a breakfast...
Read moreI arrived right at 9:15 am on a Sunday only to find out that they were selling drinks and the sandwiches wouldn’t be ready until 9:45. This is because the food wasn’t prepped ahead of time. Several people were turned off by this and left. However some of us were able to stick around because the sandwiches are quite delicious.
When we came back at 9:45, we were able to order along with some other people, and it took another 36 minutes for us to get our two sandwiches. I feel bad for the two young workers who were there because they weren’t able to keep up with the demand. There was a long line of people who still needed to order their sandwiches after ours.
This isn’t the first time this has happened on a weekend when I’ve been here. It was really upsetting that it took about an hour after opening to be served our sandwiches. The owner and managers need to figure out a system that works. Honestly, I could have just gone to Porto’s down the street to beat the morning rush and my sandwich wouldn’t still...
