Center Diamond — Local services in Cannon Beach

So sad to review this beautiful shop with such low stars, but, I came in today with my boys, and had both of them in hand,just looking at the beautiful fabric and colors, and the women working here were very inhospitable. No one welcomed us into the store, and I got consistently dirty looks, for bringing my boys in, who kept their hands to themselves, and when my youngest wanted to touch, I immediately left. Lose the "tude," Ladies!

Edit: I appreciate the response, however, I only became concerned, when we walked in and said hello, to whomever was at the check-out, and received no response.Further, there were not so many customers in your store, that I could not have been greeted.

Regardless of whether or not it was intended, there were some very disconcerting looks on the faces of your employees, which in turn made me feel very uncomfortable, hence my over careful approach with my children, in regards to the merchandise in your store. I would not have felt so uncomfortable with my boys, like I had to leave, if it wasn't such an unwelcoming atmosphere the moment I walked in the door and my children were seen. Excellent selection of marine themed fabrics (shells, sea life, lighthouses, mermaids, etc) including batiks. Also a decent selection of digital and modern prints. And a good selection of animal fabrics- birds, cats, dogs, badgers, bears etc. Lots of notions too. Friendly staff and the woman helping us didn’t skimp on the yardage when cutting my fabrics like some places do. Right next to a glass blowing shop and across the street from public parking and restrooms for Cannon Beach/Haystack Rock. I have visited this store many times. The fabrics are lovely and shop well stocked. Two stars for what follows in explanation. Don't ask for ideas unless you intend to follow what the shop owners want you to do. All I wanted were some ideas and when I didn't buy into theirs, became angry and rude and very frustrating to me!!! Hopefully, maybe they were both having a bad day! Anyway they were rude! I went back to our room, went online and ordered the one fabric they suggested and two others that worked better than the ones they had. Needless to say they lost 150.00...
