My review is about the experience I had with Lila Lewenstein... I honestly do not know where to start, I am so disappointed that I have no words. In retrospective, I wish I had done only the 15 minutes free call, since she determined that I had "leaky guts", and after paying about $ 1,000 between visits, prescriptions and exams, she stuck with that idea. The problem is that she prescribed me a powder that caused me heavy diarrhea, and she had ZERO CLUE!!! I do not think she knows the ingredients of the stuff she prescribes, versus the symptoms you have (and we talked for over 1 hour and $ 375.00).. So, yeah, she wasn't able to help, actually, made my problem worst. I made the mistake to have written an email the day that I was sick, instead of calling, asking if there was any ingredient in the supplements she prescribed me that could have caused that effect on me. First of all she did not answer me right away (15 hours later), and I guess it's in the contract we sign that emails are answered within 3 days, (my bad), but when she answered, "She said "NO", not ingredients would have caused that!".. when I replied: could it have been the prune powder in it?, she said: "oh yeah, could be!!!!" Really? anyways, I am disappointed and screwed. Also, she made sure that I would not buy my supplements from amazon, even if they had the same brand, so I had to go thru the company she recommended, I guess same as regular doctors, they get a commission from the website they "recommend" .. I am back to square one, if not even behind that, and $ 1,000...

Around 3 years ago, my feet started to swell and caused so much pain that I was not able to walk anymore. The symptoms spread throughout my body which made me very stiff to such a degree that I couldn’t move at all without excruciating pain. Worst of all, no one was able to find a remedy or help me in any way, much less offer a prognosis. He is very knowledgeable and skilled at what he does with true concern for his patients and a caring demeanor. He was determined to help me and his expertise and resourcefulness led me to live and enjoy my life again pain-free. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me and I am immensely grateful to have found such a gifted and passionate doctor. I am still seeing him to address the underlying causes of my condition and I am very confident that he will be able to address any future health concerns. Doctor Derek has helped me and a lot of my family members over the years. He is kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. You can ask him anything and he generally knows what to tell you to improve your situation. He has worked with my personal physician to get me healthy. He is responsive to messages on his website, a lifesaver when you need a quick answer and the regular docs are not available or knowledgeable on the topic.
