We visited OMG Candy Store in November 2024. Although I hate places named with OMG and such. It was a nice little store. The store itself is not all that large. It’s long and narrow in shape inside. So it’s fairly good size that seems like one long isle. They had a fair selection of candies. But they are limited on selection as they are also limited on size. A lot of older styles and name brands one may be looking for, will not be there. But they do have some and maybe the one you might like. The saltwater taffy was limited to about 5-6 flavors and a mixed drawer. So they have it, but as stated, they are limited on how many flavors they can carry. It’s a nice little store that does have a decent variety of candy that they sell by the pound. Yes you can buy less than a pound. So they are worth checking out. They may carry what you’re looking for. If not, they may have something else that works to address your cravings.

Really fun candy store with a lot of interesting treats. We went twice and made sure to get some of the novelty drinks and candies. One one side is where you can fill up a bag with all sorts of chocolates and candy; on the other side are candies from around the world, although a lot did seem Japanese-centric. For the side where you fill up a bag, I personally liked the cinnamon chocolate gummy and the chocolate banana chips. We also tried some doughnut flavored cotton candy that was really unique. I definitely recommend stopping in to at least see the different things. Really fun store on King.

My first time visiting this candy store and it was lovely. If you have a sweet tooth or want candy from your childhood then visit this store. You may not find all the candy from the past, but there are many to choose from for your taste. The only reason I am giving 4☆s is because they did not have my favorite shoestring licorce. I look forward to visiting this shop again when in town. I would recommend for all my candy lovers.

I had a mom and daughter weekend in Charleston a couple weeks ago, we had a great time oohing and aching over the insane amount of candy- all types- some I loved from my childhood (GenXer here) and some new ones I’ve never heard or thought of! Had my little one with me and she loved it as much as me and my 71 year old mom did. Adorable little shop, friendly staff, great location, and a very upbeat and fun vibe. Super fun stop and can’t wait to...
