Family 99c & Plus — Local services in City of Long Beach

I liked the concept of a good sized 99 cent store in town and on the east side. Now that they have been here for a while I noticed their prices have gone up dramatically. $5 for a single roll of Bounty towel? Mostly stuff made in China and really nothing but the lowest quality. Everyone speaks Spanish with little command of English if any. Whatever I've purchased is inoperable after their short 7 day return policy (with receipt only for store credit ONLY no less!) Who needs these rip off artists? I'm going to Five Below and Dollar tree when I'm in Oceanside...

My flight was canceled, and we couldn’t retrieve our luggage as we were leaving in the next few days. After hearing how great this store was I decided to check it out. This store was well organized, clean, and well lit, and there were a lot of cool items there I didn’t expect to see.
