Captain Bligh's Landing — Local services in Clearwater

I am appalled by the way they they treat people here i tried to go golfing with my boyfriend at 9pm and mind you they close at 10pm which would give a full hour for us to golf. We saw people paying and they locked the door right before we could go in and then the man came out and got hostile really quick just because we asked why we couldn’t golf if we were paying customers. The customers before us was a dad and his child and he said to us that it was the child’s first time going so he didn’t want to ruin his time but he didn’t want to stay an extra hour for me and my boyfriend to golf even though we would have gotten done at the same time as the people before us. He threaten to call the cops on us just because we are asking some simple questions. Would never go back to this place with the disrespect from the man who had dreads i didn’t get him name but he was very rude. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! PLEASE AVOID THIS BUSINESS AND PARKING LOT TO AVOID BEING EMBARRASSED AND THREATENED BY THE OWNER:

The owner has a total lack of appreciation for his customers. The owner was willing to tow a paying customer's vehicle off the property due to him walking across the street to pick up his wife, whom walked inside the corner clothing store with a boot on her foot and needed assistance.

The owner threaten to have my vehicle towed if I didn't walk upstairs to the mini golf course office after I continued to explain to him my wife's situation.

I understand parking is an issue and you have a right to protect your business, but there are better ways to treat paying customers than threatening them.

New ownership is needed at this establishment, until then my best recommendation would be to avoid at all cost.

I wish I would have read these reviews before attending and I would have never visited due to many of the bad reviews.

Save your money and time and visit another location which will provide a better experience than this mini...

Aside from being trapped in the course when I really needed to use the restroom, it was ok. My husband had to help me find a way out to it. Finally got to the office to ask the guy where it was. We resumed our game. I was under the impression these places were open to 11. That was my bad I guess but a mention about how long we had to play would've been nice. Our hotel was across the street and we could've gone the next day. My husband, son and myself were having a ton of fun. A lot of goofing off and laughing, which is great for my autistic son. Then the guy from the office appeared and informed us that they had been closed for an hour. Again, my stupidity for not checking their time and just assuming. At that point, we felt like intruders, stopped our game where we were and left. The guy was just blah, monotone and not personable or friendly at all. The parrot even looks annoyed being there.
