I booked a 8 hour trip for a surprise for my mother's 60th birthday on 12/11/22. If you look at the FAQ you will be 30 miles off shore for a 8 hour trip. Before I get into it I want to say everyone needs time to learn and I understand that. There were 6 people in our group 4 of which fish all the time so didn't need any help. Once the captain got the boat anchored and we started fishing the statements were made that the boat keeps coming off the spot. I understand that happens but instead of fixing it he just continued to fish with us. Don't get me worry he was a nice guy but I am paying you to put us on the fish not to fish with us. Then he tells us he is new to this coast and is still very much learning to waters and where the fish are here. I don't think I should pay full price for a captain that is just learning. Then I asked how far off shore are we. He states that we are 15 miles off shore. I have a 28ft offshore boat that I could of did the same trip in very easily but I wanted to day to be all about my mother and not the have to do anything. We came back to shore with 1 grouper and some grants. I was very disappointed with the surprise day that I had planned for my mother and the price I had to pay to go 15 miles off shore. Definitely will not recommend this...

Never book with this company! My family and friends reserved a trip for sunday morning. I called capt. Tucker the day before as instructed to confirm our trip. I left a message and waited for a returned call. I then called later Saturday night and capt. Tucker's phone went to voicemail. We all arrived, 10 of us, Sunday morning around 615 for our 7am trip. The first mate had also arrived around that time. Around 7am we had still not seen or heard from Capt. Tucker, and the first mate said he tried calling but went to voicemail. As my friends and family stand on the dock waiting for a fun day of fishing, we were told that the capt was asleep in his house snooring with his phone uncharged. After waking up early, getting ready, making the drive down to the beach, and planning this trip for my bday the capt tells the first mate he canceled the trip. Not a single phone call came to me to cancel this trip, and if the capt did cancel, then why would the first mate have arrived early and start setting up the fishing rods and stuff? I have never been treated with such poor...

The mate and captain had very little interest in what we had to say, after trolling for a hour or so we already had well over 20 fish in the cooler, problem was only 2 of our six could reel in anything at a time. I asked SEVERAL times if we could move and go bottom fishing so all of us could be FISHING at the same time (i didnt even care if we caught anything) the captain kept putting me off saying a few more a few more, then we moved to a spot where he said "hey ONE of you might catch a shark or Cuda" I said we dont want to catch shark or barracuda we just all want to be out here fishing together can we move. Still stayed there for an hour or so until it was very clear we werent going to catch anything and I wanted to move. So we went at trolling speed to the bottom fishing spot and when we got there it was "oh theres another boat here and its almost time to go back and I have another charter at 2 so we are going to go back in". AWFUL AWFUL service. I would strongly recommend finding another charter service. This was a six hour trip...
