I love this place! In all fairness, I have never had a storage unit before, so my opinions are a bit biased. I will research for a long time before deciding on what to purchase etc. After having spent about 2 months researching to find what I needed at the best prices, I ended up with ONLY this place every time. No matter when I looked, the prices were unbeatable in comparison to any other place within the area. Location is fantastic as it is set off the main roadway and less congested, yet still right in the middle of a beautiful Collierville setting. It is 24hr gated access with no extra charge while other charge for this service. Gate coded in and out. It is open, yet still widely secured, and I have never once through twice about the time of day I have been there. I do like to go in the evenings when it’s quiet, and feel completely safe. Even at 2am! The staff is AMAZING! I pricked a unit, rented. Decided I needed more and rented a second unit. Then decided I needed even more and went to a larger unit and kept one of the smaller as well. Herb has bent over backwards to ensure I was where I wanted and was able to stay in the same building I was currently in to help with relocating items from one unit to another. Even being the end of the day, he stayed to make sure I was able to move into my unit immediately, and was very professional In regards to ensuring both of our safety concerning COVID. He sprayed everything down. And EVERY time I have been there, he is usually out spraying handles, cleaning up and ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. Wether Herb owns this lot, is the manager, or just works there, I am not sure. What I do know is that it is due to him mainly, that I haven’t decided to go somewhere else that may be a bit cheaper for a unit in the size I need. As the new bass boat we purchased last spring was simply too long in size to store in our own garage, we elected to rent an enclosed storage unit at Collierville Marketplace Self Storage, and our experience with this facility has been nothing less than extraordinary. The facility, managed by Herb Depenau, is so clean and well-maintained that a scowling, ill-tempered Marine Corps drill instructor could stalk through the main gate of this complex on a surprise inspection tour and stroll out twenty minutes later grinning from ear-to-ear. Aside from being an architecturally pleasing storage facility, the customer service at Marketplace Self Storage is outstanding. Herb and his staff are very friendly, gracious and accommodating folks who work hard to ensure that their tenant customers remain highly satisfied, secure in the knowledge that their property is well-protected. Storing your personal items and property at Collierville Marketplace Self Storage is akin to leaving it in the locked garage of your closest neighbor or favorite uncle. I am horrible with names, and don’t have paperwork in front of me. I absolutely loved the manager there! She is perfect for the position she is in. She was extremely upbeat, helpful and attentive, explained things thoroughly, and offered assistance with the use of some items she had to prevent me from having to load my dolly up back and forth. I love the fact that it is within walking distance of my home, the price was phenomenal for what I needed, and surprisingly being in Collierville, was quite a bit less than everywhere else. And that doesn’t even factor in the special of your first month being free.. I especially love the security. While all self storage places have the security, all others I had looked into will charge an extra fee for you to have 24 access to your unit. Was given an individual gate code, which I’m guessing most places have. But was impressed with the fact that you need the code to get out as well, so anyone who was to follow me in, couldn’t get out without a code either. Just a very pleasurable...
