Online system for pulling permits is total trash. Homeowners don’t have a license type to select. Guess I have to waste more time from my life I’ll never get back to go downtown and experience the wonderful treatment everyone on google is saying they receive. 😂 I’ll let you know how it goes.

Update - so I emailed them ask why you can’t pull a permit online and they said you can’t for certain things, but said they do it over email! I filled out the application and emailed back, then printed off the homeowners affidavit and had my bank notarize it, took a picture of the document and emailed it back, they sent me a link to pay the fee and issued my permit. All I want to do is schedule my required inspection. The automated portal for scheduling is not currently working but the employees refuse to just help me schedule and have just redirected me to the broken automated system several times despite repeatedly telling them the reason I was even calling was that the automated system keeps hanging up on me. All I am trying to do is what is required of me but cbus building dept seems dead set on preventing me from getting my inspection. Thanks for nothing.

the building is nice. first impressions are everything. the staff is another story. I went to the utilities receptions/information desk. Not a "hello, how may i help you", nothing. just rude and with an attitude. poor first impression - especially as the first person people see. i finally spoke first. the attitude she had was that I was wasting her time and she didn't have time to help me. very rude. as i was leaving, i had to tell her "sorry to bother you".
