I bought a house in Feb 2024 and am having issues with the city. I actually have called the mayor's office several times left a voicemail and got no response. I spent three hundred and eight thousand dollars on a house, and i'm paying taxes on that. When we bought the house, the trash can that was here was falling apart. The lids falling off the wheels are falling off. And when we try to call the city, I have email communication from 311 in which they state and I quote, we are not replacing the can you can purchase one if you would like, for ninety five dollars. I left them voicemail on the mayor's office line. This would be the number three voicemail and as advised in it. "Please go to google maps and look up columbus city hall and you would find my review. As promised, check my profile fifteen million views, so this is going to get some attention." It would only take thirty seconds of the video, but you can get the gist of it. However, i'm going to post the video and tag the city in it for the full video and the fun thing about google is it won't come down until I take it down. If the mayor's office and public information office would like this removed, they can reach me. The voicemail that the city got has my phone number and address in it as well as my name, which is clearly here publicly. The resolution I want is a new trash can that i'm not paying ninety five dollars for when i'm paying a significant amount of taxes on a three hundred and eight thousand dollar house. My background is in public information also, so if the mayor's office would like to wage a war over a trash, can I would be glad to. I'm a salty ENTP & disabled veteran and I have nothing but time on my hands....

Awful department. They take 4 weeks to schedule a bulk pick up and then have no care at all for the citizens. They send you to call center idiots that are rude and have ZERO interest in helping anyone.

This alone should be a cause for concern to anyone considering living in the Columbus district. Move to a suburb and avoid these terrible people at...
