A Breath of Fresh Air in Fast Food: Piada Delivers Flavor Without Compromise

In a landscape dominated by deep fryers and drive-thrus, Piada Italian Street Food is a refreshing revelation. From the moment you walk in, the open kitchen and chef-led experience signal something different—something better. Piada isn’t just serving food; it’s crafting meals with intention, rooted in fresh ingredients and bold Italian flavors.

Whether you’re indulging in a hand-rolled Piada stuffed with grilled chicken and basil aioli, or building a vibrant bowl packed with roasted veggies, hummus, and chimichurri drizzle, every bite feels like a celebration of balance. Their menu hits that sweet spot between comfort and clean eating, offering options like tossed pastas, chopped salads, and protein-rich bowls that don’t leave you feeling weighed down.

What’s truly exciting is how Piada reflects a growing movement in the U.S.—one that embraces health-conscious choices without sacrificing speed or taste. In a country where fast food has long been synonymous with processed and greasy, Piada proves that ā€œfastā€ can also mean fresh, nourishing, and downright delicious.

It’s not just a meal—it’s a mindset shift. And...

Terrible! I don't know what happened to this place but it is not the Piada we used to love. Tonight we ordered online, showed up at the time it stated only to find out it wasn't ready. While waiting, 2 other people come in and they make their food first. Then they start our order. 2 more people come in and they stop ours to make theirs. Then the male worked takes out our sticks from the bag and hands it to the other people, which makes us wait for new ones because they needed theirs now. Ok. Now we get home and here is what we have... the sticks are wrong. We ordered 1 pepp and 1 cheese and received 2 pepp. No big deal right? Except for the food allergies. The we open the pasta... No meat... added sundried tomatoes (a TON) and it was cold. Opened up the piada and it's cold. Then we open their other cheese side and it's just saw cheese inside, not melted or cooked. What an absolute waste of $30. Never going back and will not be suggesting it to anyone again. Just get takeout from...

Can't quite figure out how to reply to the reply but I'll summarize it here. The atmosphere and service was good, this location was being kept tidy and the workers were prompt and made the meal spot on this time around. Unfortunately, it can be hit or miss sometimes (particularly at the Lane location for both decor and food prep).

The only real drawbacks I had came from my choosing to come in at an off hour between dinner and closing so the pasta (penne) was overcooked (too soft) from sitting in the warmer for too long. That said, everything else was solid. The sauce (Marinara), protein (spicy chicken) and toppings (peppers & tomatoes) tasted fresh and well prepared.

If you are looking for Italian I definitely recommend folks go to Piada over several other Italian fast-casual or casual locations since you can build your own dish to your liking like a Chipotle or Qdoba which gives it flexibility for people who are on Vegan, Vegetarian, or...

It says the host was Marquez and let me tell you I don’t think that Piada even screens the employees this guy was the worst customer service non friendly person I ever encountered at any Piada it was like pulling teeth to get him to do his job absolutely no motivation! the salads were the smallest I’ve ever seen very inconsistent even with the two he made back to back. My wife asked for extra crispy calamari and he never even turned around to relay the message to the cook. He does not belong in the front line assisting customer with his blank stares and rude personality I will never come back to this location! I paid $31.00 and both bowls had brown avocados in them do they not keep better avocados in the back?? I feel like I should get a refund, I should not still be hungry paying $31.00 with brown avocados!

1. We ordered curb side I pulled in marked that I was outside After 30 minutes they never brought it out so I walked in. Food had been sitting on the counter for 30 mins 2 i get back and neither of the kids orders are in it 3. They didn't give us any utensils My mom and I ordered these 2 side items and this is what we got it's not even the same thing being advertised Pasta wasn't bad but wasn't anything better than fazolis. Its a cool idea, it worked like subway but for pasta.

I come to Piada pretty often, and honestly, it’s always a great experience. The food is super fresh and tasty, and I love how there’s so much variety to choose from. I’ve got a few favorites, but I still find myself trying new things because the menu’s so good. The vibe is relaxed, and the staff is always friendly, which just adds to the whole experience. Whether I’m in for a quick bite or hanging out for a bit, Piada never lets me down. Definitely one of my go-to spots!
