A Breath of Fresh Air in Fast Food: Piada Delivers Flavor Without Compromise
In a landscape dominated by deep fryers and drive-thrus, Piada Italian Street Food is a refreshing revelation. From the moment you walk in, the open kitchen and chef-led experience signal something differentāsomething better. Piada isnāt just serving food; itās crafting meals with intention, rooted in fresh ingredients and bold Italian flavors.
Whether youāre indulging in a hand-rolled Piada stuffed with grilled chicken and basil aioli, or building a vibrant bowl packed with roasted veggies, hummus, and chimichurri drizzle, every bite feels like a celebration of balance. Their menu hits that sweet spot between comfort and clean eating, offering options like tossed pastas, chopped salads, and protein-rich bowls that donāt leave you feeling weighed down.
Whatās truly exciting is how Piada reflects a growing movement in the U.S.āone that embraces health-conscious choices without sacrificing speed or taste. Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible! I don't know what happened to this place but it is not the Piada we used to love. Tonight we ordered online, showed up at the time it stated only to find out it wasn't ready. While waiting, 2 other people come in and they make their food first. Then they start our order. 2 more people come in and they stop ours to make theirs. Then the male worked takes out our sticks from the bag and hands it to the other people, which makes us wait for new ones because they needed theirs now. Ok. Now we get home and here is what we have... the sticks are wrong. We ordered 1 pepp and 1 cheese and received 2 pepp. No big deal right? Except for the food allergies. The we open the pasta... No meat... added sundried tomatoes (a TON) and it was cold. Opened up the piada and it's cold. Then we open their other cheese side and it's just saw cheese inside, not melted or cooked. What an absolute waste of $30. Never going back and will not be suggesting it to anyone again. Just get takeout from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCan't quite figure out how to reply to the reply but I'll summarize it here. The atmosphere and service was good, this location was being kept tidy and the workers were prompt and made the meal spot on this time around. Unfortunately, it can be hit or miss sometimes (particularly at the Lane location for both decor and food prep).
The only real drawbacks I had came from my choosing to come in at an off hour between dinner and closing so the pasta (penne) was overcooked (too soft) from sitting in the warmer for too long. That said, everything else was solid. The sauce (Marinara), protein (spicy chicken) and toppings (peppers & tomatoes) tasted fresh and well prepared.
If you are looking for Italian I definitely recommend folks go to Piada over several other Italian fast-casual or casual locations since you can build your own dish to your liking like a Chipotle or Qdoba which gives it flexibility for people who are on Vegan, Vegetarian, or...
