I had went in the first time on Wednesday evening, but it was almost closing time and I didn’t get a lot of chance to look around so I did ask when I am one of the sales ended because I saw a couple things I wanted to buy. The girl working told me the 1st. I returned this afternoon and had my grandson with me and I went to the section of household items, it was hard to look with stock sitting blocking many things but the sign was still up so I asked if the blankets, towels and rugs were considered household items and she said that sale was over. I looked at the paper hanging up and before I could say anything else she ripped it off the display and wadded it up. I said, but I was in here two days ago and she said it was over the first. Her reply was it was over yesterday. This is the first I said, I understand it said through the first and she wouldn’t look at the paper again and she was being very rude And said I’m just doing what they told me and a very disgusted voice and even startled my grandson that’s eight . I couldn’t believe the way she was talking to me and said you just look at that and she opened the paper and it said - Friday November 1st. I said this is Friday and again she said it ended yesterday only thing on sale is Halloween, I started to ask if I could speak to someone and she walked away saying sale was over. I will not return Which is disappointing because I thought it looked like they had similar really cute things and someplace different to shop. With employees like this, they won’t be in...

I never give reviews tbh, But Google popped up, wanting to know how my experience was with pOpshelf two weeks ago. And I remembered because it was my first time ever going there & immediately when I walked in I was so excited by how much I saw & how big the store was. There was really just me & a mother with her daughter in there. I had been looking at makeup & felt eyes on me, it was a man who I originally thought was waiting to be helped by an employee. But everytime I moved isles, or stopped to look at something, he too moved around. It became VERY obvious he worked there & he thought I was going to steal something or already had stole. To the point I got so distracted & on edge with his inappropriate passive “monitoring” - at this point enough people had entered the store that the excuse of “maybe it’s cause I’m the only one here” didn’t stand anymore. It was so obvious & annoying that I just put everything down and left. Like ew, I get it. You’re running a business .. but … not everyone is out here stealing. Some of us are stepping out our comfort zone, trying new places alone, it could be the only place that person visits that day and that’s the experience you want to give them? Booooo thumbs down, tomato tomato. Ladies, I’m sure you’re great I wouldn’t kno cuz I was being telepathically harassed by ur power tripping coworker (I’m assuming manager or boss.) but sir, please take a seat. Pop Shelf is a nice discounted store on the West side of Columbus Ohio. I happen just to go in there. I browse through the store to see what they had but of course , I spent 💵money😄😄😄😄. I live about 30 minutes away from here so there is no stores on my part of the city. I hope eventually we get one. It is really a nice store, the👩🏻‍🦳👩🏿👩🏽🧔🏼‍♀️ people are nice. The store was really clean. They were stocking up merchandise, but nothing that was a distraction. I did buy a mop. It was only five 5️⃣ dollars but when I went to use it, it fell apart. I live too far away. I am not driving back out there to get another mop🧹🧼🧽🧻🧺 for 5️⃣five dollars. I did write to the company on the packaging. Hopefully they may send me a replacement if they don’t it’s OK. I still will shop there again. It is better than the average dollar stores! Quality is way better.
