Liana was an AWFUL server with a bad attitude problem. Me and two friends arrived to the Hilliard Rome rd location at about 2pm. We waited to be sat for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged. That wasn’t a huge deal. Once we were sat, we sat without being greeted for about another 5 minutes. Our server was busing tables, which I understand wanting to clean but the restaurant was basically empty and the first priority should always be to greet your table and get the drink orders. She eventually came and got out orders, but at the end there were a few things messed up on the bill. I had a water, and she had put my friends sweet tea on my bill, and also swapped our appetizers. I told her this, and at the time it wasn’t a big deal... but she replied with “it’s only a .30 difference” with an attitude, when really the drink was around $2.99, but regardless it shouldn’t matter. The appetizers were close in price, but there was no reason I should pay for a drink when I had a water. And as I was explaining the mix up to my friend because she didn’t realize there was also a drink added to my bill, the server (Liana) walked away and said “that’s not what she meant but okay.” as to what my friend was saying. Which was extremely rude. She walked to the server station and then began gossiping to another server about us, who then looked back to see our table. To top it off when my friend was filling out her credit card slip, liana said “if you’re not going to tip you don’t need to sign it, you can just leave”, although my friend was writing a 20% tip! After that comment she decided not to. This was the absolute worst service I’ve ever received. All three of us have been servers for quite awhile and that was not how a server should ever under any...
Read moreIt was exactly what I expected. The service was far better than I had come to expect from a bw3, however, as I have come to find there are always peaks and valleys in service as well as the quality of the food in general.
I will say that nothing was bad but things do not always come out as you are used to getting.
My wife ordered coleslaw as she usually does from bw3 and it was less than we were used to. It was almost like it was taken from the top of a newly opened container and never even attempted to be stirred.
My boneless wings were decent enough. Normal for what they were but nothing to write home about as anything more than the average that I have gotten at any of the other locations I have visited countrywide.
There were some hidden gems that were found in the thai curry sauce and a jalapeno jelly based sauce. They were both excellent.
Most bw3's that we have been to have had an issue with orders coming out in a timely manner. This did seem to happen to us however we were there more to talk to an friend than focus on eating so we were not paying that close attention to the times things took nor did we say anything at the time.
Fries seemed like they were done in large batches and not to order. Some were cold and others were merely warm. They were edible so I did not send them back or say anything while we were there. As stated earlier our attention was on our friend.
I do realize that most places are still hurting after the events of the past year so I am always willing to give a place another chance.
I do commend the server for their timely attention and wonderful attitude.
The atmosphere of the location is definitely very different than precovid however that is to...
Read moreDining room was practically empty when we arrived. We were greeted almost immediately and sat.. Our server ( who appeared barely friendly or glad that we were there) started off ok by taking our drink and appetizer order and answering our questions about different things on the menu.. She kept our glasses full and offered more napkins as we waited for the appetizers.. While we were waiting for the appetizers another server was doing her side work so that she could leave and kept complaining to our server about how she wasn't making any money because there was always 2 servers and how they didn't need 2 servers.. After she left a few more people arrived and our appetizers also arrived.. As we were eating she kept checking on us by asking if we were still doing ok.. After about the third time of her asking if we were doing ok I had to tell her that yes we were ok but did she want to take our dinner order.. She acted surprised that we wanted dinner also.. Our dinner arrived and the food was good but she never asked us if things were tasting ok.. All she asked was if we were doing ok..She never pre bussed our table ( she walked by our table at least 10 times), didn't offer any boxes for left overs ( we had to ask for them and our check when she once again asked if we were doing ok) or dessert.. After paying for our dinner; we received our receipt and never was told thank you for coming in or have a good evening.. ( She needs a personality change.. even though we all are wearing masks now, you can definitely tell if...
