Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Columbus

Ordered one pizza for delivery through the app assuming it would be a normal delivery experience. I had a one hour wait time, which I was okay with. I understand staffing may be an issue and with it likely being busy, it didn't seem too out of the norm. My order was unknowingly sent to doordash, although I paid the $5+ delivery fee for donatos to deliver. I could've ordered off of the doordash app and received free delivery along with a 50% off discount code I have, but didn't think it was necessary as Donatos has always delivered it themselves and in a timely manner. So again, it didn't seem necessary. I wish they would've notified me before accepting the order and before sending to doordash. Doordash showed up over an hour later, and left the pizza in the cold on the ground, with no knock or phone call. Once I received it, I was just glad to finally have my food. Then, I opened the box to find that the pizza had not even been cut. It appears they started to cut the edge, and changed their minds once they got about an inch into the pizza. This was the final issue I have encountered that led me to leave this review. I will likely not ever return to this location. Overall, it seems strange to spend $15 on one pizza, and $5+ for delivery, for the pizza to not be cut, and not delivered by donatos, nor notified that they were having doordash deliver. There's really no excuse here. The pizza itself was okay, nothing special, and hardly warm. Still edible, which deserves a two star...

Getting good service at this location continues to be a struggle. In years past we have actually called the restaurant on our phone from our booth just to get service. Today we encountered a sign to order from the register which we did. Someone came out right away to take our order. We went to find a table, but found crumbs and/or grease on every table. This was just after noon, and there were no other customers in the dining room the whole time we were there. I can't think all these tables had been in use in the hour the restaurant had been open for the day. We ordered a large pizza and a 2-liter of Dr. Pepper. Our pizza and soft drink arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. It would have been nice to have parmesan and ice for our drinks, but once the food was served we never saw our server again. It is frustrating that we have to choose our tip amount with our order, before we know how the service will be. We have started going to Flyers where we get great service, but our kids still want Donato's at times. We will remember to visit another location...

I’ve been coming to the same donatos for over 8years never had a problem ordering from the window never not 1 time but tonight the manager and some rude kid refused service to me! i actually tried to call multiple times but ended up getting a busy tone after 15mins on hold each time so I decided to drive there and order at window keep in mind I’m ordering pizza because it’s after 10pm when I got off of work and everything else is closed it’s a Friday so the kids can stay up later so I decided to get them pizza for dinner and donatos is what we get but not tonight horrible service must be under new management won’t be returning here anytime soon but I know my petty 60$ doesn’t matter to them I just want everyone to know the kinda service you’ll be getting by going there don’t expect to drive up to the window to order even after u were on hold for 45 mins trying to...
