Torrid — Local services in Columbus

I literally had the worst experience in Torrid today! It was my first time visiting one of their stores. It was the Easton town center location in Ohio. Absolutely no one spoke to me, My the entire duration of the time I was in that store which wasn’t about an hour. It seemed like the employees were trying to purposely avoid me. No one spoke or even made eye contact with me. I felt as if I was out of place. I didn’t want to speak up and ask for help because they were being extra friendly with all the other customers, but no one would even even acknowledge my presence. When I finally tried to approach an employee the sped past me and the other one was completely occupied with other customers the other lady just kept a distance from me almost as if she wanted me to stay away from her. I almost caved and just left because I got the feeling that’s what they wanted time to do LEAVE but. I had a $500 gift card that was gifted to me because it is my anniversary I was going today to find myself a beautiful dress and possibly some underwear or whatever else I found to treat myself. I was so upset and hurt by the way I was treated. I literally just walked out of the store without getting anything and went somewhere else. I feel like to management needs to have a conversation with these employees how to greet and interact with ALL shoppers. I will also be reaching out to a higher up in corporate. I was so excited today to finally be able to treat myself just to walk out empty-handed and again not one time did anybody ever attempt to speak or acknowledge my presence but were overly excited to assist other customers. This happened 8/31 around 2-3pm at the EASTON TOWN CENTER LOCATION. There was a red/ginger head lady there and a shorter “punk rock” styled dark haired lady working. I’d honestly like to know why it was that they completely avoided me??? So disappointing and hurtful to be handled like an alien or something I feel uncomfortable even going back...

Definitely will not be shopping at this torrid again! Lady that checked me out didn’t really know what she was doing. At first tried to charge me $23 for shipping and then the other girl working had to correct, which was fine because it got fixed. I was confused about the receipt because I didn’t know they split up the transactions when order online. When I asked about it I was met with attitude by the other girl working. Come to find out when I get home I look at the dress I ordered in store online, I got overcharged, it’s on sale online for half the price! I’ve been a torrid customer for over 10+ years and I just feel like the whole brand is slowly taking a nose dive, the care they used to have is just not...

One of my favorite places to shop. The apparel here, really fits my clothes sense. Especially on my spectrum between punk and flower child.

I've been shopping at the Bond Street location, even before I transitioned. And I followed them to the new location.

Sizing is always consistent, so I only really have to try on bras.

No problem with the staff treating me appropriately, as I'm pretty much on a first name basis.

Went in first thing on Black Friday, was pretty much the only customer, but the staff were very helpful, as well as being in a holiday mood. I found a couple tops to help put together a couple of outfits.
