I stopped in for a watch pin replacement and they did a very nice job and got it done quickly for me at a reasonable price. Thank you for that!
But I also have a tag Hauer aqua racer and it needs a new movement. I asked them if they would quote a price for me, and they told me a cost me $25. Not a whole lot of money here, but this is more for rent on principle. And so we seem to be at a point today where they are charging $25 to go through the steps of quoting a service job, where the industry doesn’t seem to be doing much service anymore, or at least making it a priority function in their business. So if they quoted the repair high and people turn it down, or they can’t do the job at all, you’re still out $25. This does not make any sense to me in an economy that is trying to recover. So many other businesses and markets are bending over backwards to get people to come in and spend money, but this seems like more of a tactic to make money then try to get the service accomplished and win new product customers.
I will add that within 24 hours I was able to get two quotes to replace that movement on my watch. It did not cost me anything for the quotes, from people who are obviously interested in problem-solving rather than nickel and diming. But I will spend the money with one of those services And get the job done. I would hope that you rethink charging people for a quote to perform work that you may never even have to do, is not really fair or...
Read moreThis place is unbelievable. I’ve had 3 engagement rings from here. And I’ve had issues with every single one. The first ring was lost by the company during resizing. The second that was given as a replacement had an entirely defective upper setting, which I only found out after losing multiple stones multiple times. Now my third ring, I lost one stone and had to argue with the company and force my way into a conversation with the owner. I just got my ring back yesterday and I lost another stone. You’ve got to be kidding me.
Not to mention the store manager who I’ve dealt with for the last two year who talked down to me every single time I walked in the door and demanded to know how much longer it would take for my ring to get fixed. It took me taking my husband in who is an officer to get the point across.
This place is unbelievable. All they want to do is sell you on their insurance, which shouldn’t be a requirement when purchasing a piece of jewelry. And after all this, I was given $80 off the insurance and the first stone fixed.
I would HIGHLY suggest never purchasing through this company. Go to Kays or literally...
Read moreI was I need of a new wedding set because my original set not only needed cut off but also I developed an allergy to the nickle in the rings. We were immediately greeted and assisted. What was the most important pasr to me was the fact they weren't trying to push anything on me. I needed platinum and they were not pushy at all. I was given multiple options with no pressure. We ended up purchasing a new engagement ring with the plan to redesign my old set and this took some time. They were pleasant, friendly, and easy to work with even though they needed to stay open well past their closing time. Oh and I have a wedding to attend out of town and they are going above and beyond to get my ring sized and back to me before I leave Thursday! Overall excellent...
