Tonightâs activities were cut short due to being told to cash out and leave the premises. My wife was approached by staff and told that she had been seen a couple weeks prior with a gentleman and engaging in very illegal activities and needed to leave immediately. After being forced to cash out at the cashier (instead of the kiosk) she had to walk through a few rooms to come find me. Upon finding me she explained that she was being accused of something illegal but the staff refused to explain further on the details, but they did mention that I was not the man that she was allegedly seen with. My wife tried to explain that we have only come to the casino together and that they must have her confused with someone else but at this point the staff was rude and not offering any assistance in determining what was actually going on. At this point my wife was the only one they cared about getting out of the casino, regardless of her requests for an explanation. We came to use our free play and left with a bad taste in our mouths as well as a warning not to come back to Bronco Billyâs or the chamonix for reasons that we still donât know. It is very unfortunate that the staff felt it was acceptable to treat someone as if they were guilty without giving insight on the situation other than to act on a power trip and a bad mood especially after they just mentioned their day of work was âjust another day in paradiseâ while exchanging pleasantries just minutes before. We have been coming to this casino duo for the past few years, but now we will make sure to tell our friends not to conduct business here...
Read moreThe staff for hotel check-in were wonderful! They were very informative when we called for our reservations regarding everything. They let us know where to park, that the room was above the casino and that we'd have to take the stairs (no elevator), etc. They did a phenomenal job making sure we knew what to expect. The room was small but well appointed and quite quaint. We had room 125 and the bed was actually quite comfortable and the quilt was the perfect homey touch. I thought it quite delightful how the decor, furniture, and layouts paid homage to the heritage of the era in which the building is from. The only negative on the room was that it was quite dark - not enough lighting.
For the most part the casino was a pleasant visit. We had so much fun with the personalities of the various table games dealers and the various slot machines. Only one dealer stood out as less than pleasant but she may have been having an off night - we're all human. With the casino, if you've never been there, be prepared that your payout tickets only work on the "level" they're from. If you have questions as to why a machine won't take your printed payout ticket the staff can direct you, all will work out just fine.
In all, our stay was a pleasant one and we're happy with our choice of location. Thank you to all who made this...
Read moreHorrible pretty well covers it while walking through the casino playing random machines as myself and my wife always do. I stepped up to a machine with no credits on it and no one in front of it, When all of a sudden a manic started screaming MY WIFE IS PLAYING THAT MACHINE. I then turned around and ask the guy what he was talking about. He said that he and his wife were currently playing 8. Yes. 8 machines at the same time . I told him no money in the machine no person in front of it no one is playing it.. He screamed a little more and said call security. I said yes call security or put boss or manager. Well long story short so called security showed up apologizing to me and other people for this idiot's behavior but basically did nothing. I would hope that the security of a casino would be more interested in the safety and conduct of all customers rather than just the bowing to the will of 2 loud mouth out of control people. That said I do not own the casino I just used to...
