Off the Bottle Refill Shop — Local services in Denver

I love the concept, the people here are absolutely lovely, and they’re doing something disruptive in the way of reducing waste in Denver households. Off the Bottle offers great diversity in product selection, options, scents, etc. For most every household cleaning need, you can find it here. The only reason I knock off 1 star is because the price point is a very high, and look, I’m happy to pay extra to support local businesses and reduce my carbon footprint. On the other hand, there are products available on the market that come in compostable plastic and costs 50% less than what you’ll find here per oz, even with bringing your own bottle. I know I’m not alone in being beyond ready to ditch the expensive, chemical-laden cleaning and personal products wrapped in 12 different kinds of plastic. Off the Bottle is such a great place to pick up the basics without the bs packaging, get helpful advice and recycle your old glass containers. Their staff are SOOO kind and welcoming!! Also, they sell plants which is always a welcome thing.

And on top of all that, we are now obsessed with their incense - the cleanest burn and best smell for anything near its price range.

It took me a year of driving by the store until I finally stopped in, as I had assumed the cute boutique-y vibe would mean it was totally out of our budget. But it’s quite the opposite - now we get the majority of our cleaning, laundry and lotion products from them and we feel good about...

Awesome store my mom loves their amazing products. However, we have never been treated so poorly by a store employee. The older woman with longer hair was so rude cutting us off talking, being quite nasty for no reason. I couldn’t believe how this lady was responding to my moms excitement and questions on a couple items in the store. I was honestly blown away by how unprofessional she was being to us.
