UPDATE II: Well just what I was afraid of happening (per my prior complaints below), happened. The ātrust-us-we-will-have-something-you-can-eat-so-we-donāt-need-to-put-it-on-a-menu-to-clear-up-confusionā approach is not working. My BF went all the way there to get me a special GF cupcake for my BD. Well this place didnāt have any. They sent us over to city-o-city and they were confused about which ones were GF. They sold him one they āthoughtā was GF. But I got sick so apparently it wasnāt GF. Also, the strawberry cupcake might have been the worst tasting cupcake Iāve ever had. It tasted like a overly sugared fake strawberry kids cereal - like that strawberry Frankenberry cereal we used to eat. Or like that fake strawberry in Carnation instant breakfast. So getting sick wasnāt even worth it. I miss MBB.
UPDATE: I have tried contacting you since Day 1. Actually even before the turnover from Make Believe Bakery. Mostly on social media - responding to your posts asking questions. But also by phone in the beginning and nobody answered. The website isnāt descriptive enough about what kind of products to expect with GF options. And itās not really even clear what you sell. Itās very confusing. Is it pre-made baked goods? Or custom baked goods? Or make-your-own dessert, chipotle style? All of this I believe I put either in your website contact form or on IG but I never heard back. I was trying to get a sense of what to expect before I make the trip into town.
FORMER POST Iāve contacted this place several times about Gf options and have gotten no response over the...

We recently celebrated my son's sixth birthday, and the highlight of the event was undoubtedly the customized snake cake created by Angie at the Cake Bar. This wasn't just a cake; it was a culinary marvel that brought joy and delight to everyone, especially the birthday boy.
From the very first bite, it was evident that this was no ordinary cake. The perfect balance of moist, fluffy texture with rich, decadent flavor was beyond what we thought possible for such an exotic cake. Each layer was a testament to the skill and passion at The Cake Bar brings to their craft.
What set this cake apart was its customization. Tailored specifically for my son, it not only catered to his taste preferences but also perfectly captured the theme of the party. The attention to detail in the decoration was extraordinary, creating not just a treat for the palate but a feast for the eyes.
Moreover, the use of high-quality, plant-based ingredients spoke volumes about the Cake Bar's commitment to health and sustainability, aligning perfectly with our family's values. It was reassuring to know that we were enjoying a cake that was as good for the planet as it was for our taste buds.
In conclusion, Cake Bar's creation was more than just a cake; it was the centerpiece of a joyful celebration, a delicious work of art, and a memorable experience that we will cherish for years to come. We can't imagine getting cakes from anywhere else and are already looking forward to the next delightful creation from this incredibly talented...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBe careful ordering online! You should call the store to order to avoid my issue. I ordered my cake online a week before I needed it and listed several food allergies. I chose this place because I was told they make gluten-free cakes. I was very surprised to get a phone call from them ONLY 7 MINUTES before I was scheduled to pick up the cake telling me they do not make a gluten-free cake in the flavor I requested. Since I ordered it a week in advance, why didn't they catch this conflict in my order sooner? Their website is confusing about gluten-free options, because it gives you an option to pay a surcharge of "$5 extra for gluten-free." Not being a baker, I just assumed I was paying extra for them to substitute an ingredient or leave one out. I strongly suggest they reword their order form on their website to be more clear about this. I left two messages for Angie and she never returned my call. The cake was delicious for those who were able to eat it. But it was disappointing for me that they failed to catch my food allergy on my order when they specifically ask about food allergies on the order form. When my coworker arrived to pick up the cake, it was not ready. One worker asked another if they cake had been made because initially they couldn't find it. They pulled the undecorated cake out of the cooler and started piping decoration on it. The worker was rude about it. I hate using a recommended business and then have a bad experience. Hopefully, if you try the Cake Bar, you'll have a better...
