Capitol Market — Local services in Denver

I am giving this Market a 4-star because they have a very lovely selection. Although I will tell you it is not the most affordable at all so if you want to save money just go to the grocery store. But they have wonderful Deli items that are just super tasteful. Although, I will tell you the guy working nights was constantly huffing and puffing, rude and short with his answers, complained about customer traffic, he also mentioned he was supposed to be watching me shop but, he didn't care he was cleaning the floors,( he wanted wanted to close up and leave I came late yes t 12am; still though it okay. What really irked my nerves though was his Tone of voice while I was being quite friendly, the fact he complaid about customer traffic and his LOUD dramatic huffing and puffing. He was absolutely RUDE. Period.

I originally left a 5 star review because this place truly rocks, however today I had a very concerning and revolting experience because I was sold a nicotine pouch container, and upon returning home I discovered that A) it had been previously opened, B) there were only 4 out of 20 pouches remaining, and most disgustingly, C) there were 2 USED, SPIT OUT pouches inside the container!! Even if we werent living in a pandemic, this would have still made my stomach churn. How does this happen? My only guess is that someone tried to return it, and the employee didn't inspect it before restocking it? I wish I had inspected it myself upon purchasing it, but I assumed it would be a fresh container without other people's spit inside the container? Now I wonder what other consumables they sell that are tampered with/used already. It's so disappointing & it breaks my heart because I go here all the time and now I don't feel anywhere near the same amount of trust and respect for this place as I did just a...

Convenient place to shop if you need a quick drink or snack IF THEY HAVE IT. They are constantly out of everything and just leave the empty boxes of candy on the shelves so it looks full. The workers wont stock the cooler for arizona but i can literally see the flavor that is out sitting in the back. I get that it gets busy down there but if its that busy maybe someone else needs to be hired for stocking only so that things are actually able to be purchased. Also theres no need for a time or a date for this instance go down to the shop yourself and see all the empty boxes and rows where...
