I have lived here almost a month and have some advice for people thinking about moving here. So obviously the two good points are the location and the pool. The gym is nice but it’s still missing a lot so i know eventually I will end up signing up at cf fitness. I love the inside of my unit. I have no carpet, but some of the units do in the bedroom. I have white granite, which I love and my faux wood flooring its grey some are also a little more beige I guess you would say. It honestly just depends. I don’t know if it’s by what floor plan you go with or it’s random. Having the elevator is a huge plus. So far it has never broke. Getting into each building requires a key fob, which I like but whenever you need to let someone into the building you have to meet them at the main door to the building. There’s no ringing them in or anything. When I came to tour the security gates were closed and working, but the three weeks I have lived here they haven’t worked the whole time. Always wide open. Parking is kind of a pain. They put in to many covered car ports that most of the tenants here aren’t willing to upgrade to so they just sit empty. I think they should take one down since it’s empty and give us some more spots that are closer to the door. Especially since the security gates don’t work. Also, they use a parking management company that you register your vehicle through. Just a heads up they need your current insurance and vehicle registration paperwork. I lost my vehicle registration and luckily i needed to renew in November so I did it early. If not, they put those stickers that are impossible to get off your vehicle and leave terrible residue on your window. You can also register your guest vehicles through it. Now my biggest problem is they give you a list of rules to follow. For instance no backing in, no for sale signs on your car, and no double parking. I guess this only applies to some vehicles because there is a truck that double parks and backs in yet gets no stickers on their car ever. Almost every morning i walk out someone has a sticker on their window for backing in, but not that truck. There is also a truck that has had a for sale sign on since I moved in. I don’t care that they have it, but why only follow some of the rules. I live in the d unit one bedroom floor plan. Immediately when I moved in I noticed that when the vent is sucking in the air for the ac unit it is extremely loud and it is annoying. I asked the maintenance man if it was normal. And he told me yes they know about it. It’s a design flaw the ac unit is to close to the vent causing the noise. And they are testing out some solutions. Personally, I would choose another floor plan. My unit also has no coat/storage closet. My neighbor below me must work in music and constantly play super heavy bass music that I hear almost all day long. My apartment sometimes vibrates. Yes you will hear your neighbors. Not the best sound proofing. The last thing is they offer an internet service called National WiFi! Whatever you do get at&t! Spectrum isn’t offered here. I initially got this National WiFi and wasn’t told any information on how it works. So anything that is not a phone or computer you have to call or send a text with the MAC address to have someone approve the device so you can use internet on it. Now let’s say you get it approved well two days later it might not be able to connect and you have to get it approved again. Or if you can’t find the MAC address you just can’t use that device until you can speak to the right engineer. 0 stars for National WiFi. I signed up for at&t and waiting to get that because I have had such a terrible experience. Anyways I hope this helps you decide on if this is the right...

Not worth the money! Been living here since January and for the most part it’s okay. On call services is a real pain. They really need to figure out a better parking situation for residents here. I have received two green stickers on my car to date which are nearly impossible to get off your car and I feel they enjoy putting them on there too because they’re so tough. The second sticker I received I shouldn’t have gotten really but I was held accountable. When I brought it to their attention they told me I should be parking inside the gate. Residents that live in the main building have been parking in front of it because there is barely any parking for the main building inside the gate. They told me they’ve never had a complaint about it and it was the first time they heard of it even though I’ve encountered that problem many times. I was then told I should be parking inside the gate anyway where my car is safe but the gate has been down twice at least since living here which is kind of contradicting what they told me. Was charged 5 dollars for a lightbulb that went out when at the time I only had been living in the apartment for two weeks and I feel that’s just ridiculous they actually made me pay for it. I’ve come across roaches, ants, and some other type of long bug with antennas throughout my apartment. They only have pest control every Monday so if you have any bugs you will be sitting with them till then. I shouldn’t have to call pest control about bugs at all. I pay nearly 2000/month for a “luxury” apartment so I DONT have to worry about bugs!! And then there’s the trash. Valet is subpar. The trash will sometimes sit in the halls all night even till the next day. Sometimes hasn’t come at all. They say it’s supposed to come between 8pm and 2am but I’ve been up past those hours and the trash is still there which also is contradicting because they say there isn’t supposed to be anything obstructing the hall walkways. Also, expect to get some hidden fees added to your bill every month as well. I remember when I first toured I asked specifically if there were any other fees I would be paying for. I was told about the water sewer trash and parking. Nothing was mentioned about this resident fee for 35 dollars. They really try to squeeze you dry for every penny here. I thought I was going to get a clean, pleasant experience living here but I’ve been kind of disappointed signing my lease. It seems they don’t want to be accountable for anything so I probably won’t be renewing my...
Read moreI'd like to start of by saying i've never written a negative review. But, being this has effected my quality of life, i figured i would share my experience.
I have now been a resident at Hanover Dr. Phillips since April. Like most, my move in experience was extremely positive. The local team for the most part is amazing as is the property. However, now that i have had first hand experience at living at Hanover, i can say that i would not recommend this apartment complex to ANYONE! Here's why... The rooms are built extremely poor as far as fit and finish. After my first week living here, nearly every pre-installed light bulb was either inop or constantly flickering. The maintenance team has since corrected the issues by installing all new bulbs and new LED's in the kitchen, yet the bathroom is still constantly flickering. The light outside my apartment door is literally falling out of the ceiling. The constant battle of insects coming though the sliding (French) doors, that don't seal at all. The walls are paper thin. I cant even read a book at night without hearing the neighbors conversations, im talking word for word. Or the above residents simply walking that sounds like a marching band is moving through. When it rains there are large amounts of water ingress into the stairwell floor at building 2, soaking the carpets. Yet the weekend cleaning team simply ignores it and leaves these large puddles. The list goes on.....
My biggest complaint is the lack of accountability for the safety and security of the residents. My motorcycle, the one thing that i truly loved was stolen from Lot A last week, all due to the fact that a damaged gate was wide open for days on end (BTW over 1 week later, its still wide open). One of the main reasons i moved here was due to this is a gated community. Yet as i'm writing this 2 out of 3 gates are damaged or malfunctioning resulting in them being left wide open. These past 2 nights non residents have been digging through the dumpster/trash area behind building 2 as a result. The number one focus should be the safety and security of your residents and there personal items. I get the fact that im responsible for my own property. What i don't get is why isn't there a process implemented to when the gates fail? literally anything can be used to temperately block the damaged gates. Us residents pay a nice penny to live here yet the most important aspects are overlooked. Now im going to be forced to give them even more money per month for a garage, just to further ensure my motorcycles and other personal items are kept...
