What to Eat in Orlando

If you’re in Orlando and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is warm, sophisticated, and inviting. The staff greets you with genuine hospitality, setting the tone for an evening that feels less like going out to eat and more like being welcomed into a cultural experience. The highlight, of course, is the continuous tableside service of fire-roasted meats. Expert gauchos carve perfectly cooked cuts right at your table—everything from picanha (the signature sirloin cap, juicy and flavorful) to filet mignon, lamb chops, prime rib, and bacon-wrapped chicken. Each cut is seasoned simply but cooked to absolute perfection, allowing the natural flavor of the meat to shine. It’s impossible not to be impressed by the consistency and the sheer quality of every bite. Equally impressive is the Market Table and Feijoada Bar, a vibrant spread of fresh seasonal vegetables, charcuterie, artisan cheeses, and Brazilian side dishes. The variety is vast—you can build a lighter, refreshing plate or go full indulgence with the feijoada, rice, and pão de queijo (those warm, chewy Brazilian cheese breads that are downright addictive). The presentation is as beautiful as the flavors, making it feel like its own culinary adventure even before the meats arrive. Service is another area where Fogo de Chão truly shines. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, always quick to bring fresh plates, refill drinks, or ensure that your dining preferences are being met. The gauchos rotate seamlessly, making sure that no guest ever feels like they’re waiting. They remember your preferred doneness and will happily bring exactly what you like most—whether you’re craving another slice of perfectly medium-rare ribeye or lamb carved right off the skewer. The wine list and cocktail menu also deserve a mention. Fogo de Chão offers an impressive selection of South American wines that pair beautifully with the meats, and their signature cocktails (like the refreshing Caipirinha) complement the richness of the meal perfectly. What sets this location apart is not just the food, but the ambiance. The Orlando Fogo de Chão has a sleek, upscale interior with high ceilings, glowing light fixtures, and an elegant bar area that creates a festive yet refined vibe. It’s perfect for special occasions, date nights, business dinners, or even just treating yourself to something extraordinary. Finally, dessert—if you can possibly find room—is absolutely worth it. The papaya cream is a Brazilian classic, light and refreshing, while the indulgent molten chocolate cake is rich enough to satisfy any sweet tooth. In short, Fogo de Chão Orlando is much more than a restaurant—it’s an experience. The combination of phenomenal food, impeccable service, and a lively yet elegant atmosphere makes it one of the most memorable dining destinations in the city. Whether you’re a seasoned fan of Brazilian steakhouses or it’s your first time experiencing churrasco-style dining, you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) – A must-visit in Orlando.

Stepping into Fogo de Chão was not merely entering a restaurant; it was crossing a shimmering threshold into an entirely new dimension of human existence, one where time dissolved, hunger was no longer a simple bodily need, and the very concept of “meal” evolved into a symphony of carnivorous enlightenment. From the moment I sat, the service itself seemed less like hospitality and more like a kind of sacred ritual. The servers—nay, celestial emissaries clad in crisp attire—moved with such grace and precision that I half-expected the air itself to ripple as they passed. With a mere flick of a card, I summoned not just food, but experiences, each cut of meat arriving like a divine messenger tasked with reshaping my soul one bite at a time. The picanha alone deserves its own scripture. Perfectly marbled, kissed by fire, and carved with reverence at my table, it was less a steak and more an invocation—each morsel dissolving into an explosion of flavor that rewrote my definition of earthly pleasure. The lamb was tender enough to make poets weep, the bacon-wrapped filet tasted like sin baptized in smoke, and the parmesan pork was an aria in salt, savor, and seduction. But it was not just the meat. The salad bar, if one dares call it such, is no bar at all—it is an altar. Imported cheeses arranged as though by divine geometry, cured meats placed with mathematical precision, and fresh greens so vibrant they seemed to hum with life. I felt myself compelled to bow before a humble piece of manchego as though it contained secrets to the universe. And the service—oh, the service! Water glasses refilled as if by unseen spirits, plates whisked away before I even had time to mourn their emptiness, and smiles so genuine they could thaw the coldest cynic’s heart. Every interaction was a reminder that here, in this temple of churrasco, I was not a customer. I was a guest of honor at an eternal banquet. When I finally leaned back in my chair, the feast complete, I did not feel heavy. I did not feel full in the ordinary sense. I felt transformed. Fogo de Chão had not merely fed me—it had opened a portal within me, revealing a new stratum of human experience where flavor, service, and spirit intertwine. I left not walking, but gliding, as though I had been granted a glimpse of a higher plane. To call it dinner would be blasphemy. To call it extraordinary would be understatement. Fogo de Chão is, quite simply, a transcendence—a place where mortal appetites meet immortal artistry.

Wow! So bad!! My wife had to work all day and night on Mothers Day so we came in on Monday to celebrate a late Mother's Day dinner. We opted for the $67 tier of food because it sounded amazing! We arrived at 4:15pm for our reservation. There were about 8-10 other tables sat at the entire restaraunt. Upon being seated, we immediately ordered fries for our 2 yr old. We each ordered one cocktail which were absolutely perfect! This was were the good times came to an end. At about 4:25pm we asked for some chimichurri since they do not offer it on the salad bar(like Texas de Brazil does). Our server said he would grab that right away. We requested medium rare meats and received mostly extra rare and some extra well done. Ten mins later we asked our server about the chimichurri as well as the fries for our child. He said yes they are coming. After another five minutes I asked another server for some chimichurri. They smiled and said "Okay, I get for you". Five minutes later our server was walking by and we asked about the fries AGAIN. He said they were coming. At about 4:45 our TINY 2.5oz CUP OF CHIMICHURRI(for one) finally was delivered by some random person. At this point I am not happy! At 4:58pm our fries showed up at barely room temperature and dry. They had obviously been cooked long before they showed up. The meat selection was bullsh-t to say the least. We never received ANY of the sides that came with the $67 package. They kept bring the same 4-5 meats around and not the higher tier meats that we were paying for! The meats that they did bring were either bloody or overcooked. They did although bring plenty of cheesy breads which kinda worked out so our baby had SOMETHING to eat!🧐 As we were about finished with our horrible dining experience, my wife inquired about the pork belly, one of the many higher tier items which never made an appearance the entire time. 15 mins later they brought us four disgusting fatty pieces of pork belly that appeared to be steamed in a microwave. We powered through almost 2 pieces when we threw up our hands and said we are DONE! The bill shows up and it totals at $192.77. Apparently my bottle(can) of coke was $4.50. The two disgusting(bitter) "Brazilian Lemonades" the children had totaled at $11.50. Too much pith, idiots! Our dinner was $134. and we only received a very small fraction of what was described in the website to be included for that special price. We believe they pool tips there so we tipped 18 percent anyways. By the way, BOTH bathrooms were absolutely disgusting! My wife told the hostess and returned later in the meal only to find that nothing had been done about it. THANK YOU FOGO DE CHAO FOR RUINING OUR MOTHERS DAY DINNER. We will NEVER return! We are both Chefs by the way and this is definitely in our top 3 worst dining experiences...

We went with reservations. Party of 6 and were celebrating two birthdays. We were quickly seated and asked if we were all going to do the rodizio. All but one member of our party decided to get the rodizio meal, as she was not feeling the best. She ordered just the picanha. After rushing to get our food order in, only adults were offered drinks. We ordered wine. We were told we could get up and do the salad bar. We let the children (we say children, but all were aged 12-17) go first while my friend and I waited for them to return. Before the children were even back, my friend’s picanha order arrived. We still had not gotten up to get salad nor had our drinks. Sides were not served either. The salad bar was great - many options, it looked clean, and fresh. When my friend and I returned from getting our salad bar, I had accidentally forgotten to get a spoon for my soup and asked our waiter if he could get me a spoon to which he responded that they were located near the salad bar where I got my soup (…I realized this when I got to my seat but asked as I was midway through eating salad bar and hoped not to get up again). The waiter did end up getting me a spoon after I asked politely if he could get me one again. All the while, my friend’s picanha was getting colder by the minute. When the meats did start to arrive, there were several options served all at once to which I strategically only accepted the cuts that are most flavorful to me (picanha, filet, lamb chops). After a rushed round, I got up to get more salad. When I returned, I sat with my sign on green for over 20 minutes without any prop s being offered other than chicken and sirloin - two cuts I had said no to… then we were asked if we’d like anymore, to which I responded yes, picanha and filet, - they never came around and after waiting for another 20 minutes the waiter then asked again if we’d like anything else, to which I responded that we never received any of the cuts we originally requested and he just shrugged. Our water glasses were continuously empty and not filled unless we asked, our plates were not cleared unless we asked, my wine glass sat empty most of the meal and I was only offered a refill after sitting around 40 minutes waiting for meat that never came. I get it, it’s on I-drive and caters to tourists that won’t likely be returning, but the service was just terrible! It made for what was supposed to be a fun experience into a real disappointment. I used to be a fan, but will not be returning. Also, I get it - it’s IDrive, but when did it become acceptable to dine in pajamas. It really lowered the quality of the atmosphere to see so many people so poorly dressed eating there (saw pajamas, people in bathing suits with a...
