Gabe's — Local services in Elyria

I have been a regular customer of this Gabe’s location since they opened. I can usually always find a great deal and spend a decent amount of money every trip. I had the misfortune of purchasing a pair of sandals from there that immediately broke after an hour of wear. When I went to return them the cashier was incredibly rude and told me they were none returnable. Fine they were only a few dollars, but the way the casher was disrespectful left a bad taste in my mouth. To add insult to injury after shopping around for over an hour I get to the dressing rooms and they are closed. I go to the front to ask management if it’s all day or just for shift change. It’s all day and kind you they are open till 10pm, it was 4pm. So I wasted all that time to not buy a single thing because you can’t return anything once you buy it. 1. Why wouldn’t you schedule someone or have someone cover 2. Why wouldn’t you make people aware at the door. The employees aren’t helpful, most of them are rude, and the management isn’t any better. Terrible Terrible store I will never step one foot in this store ever again. The manager is rude and the employees are rude, seems like everyone there lacks customer service or never worked in customer service in their life. The store is a complete mess, product's sold in the store are all either damaged or half the garments are missing from sets from being stolen and they still wanna sell them at full price. When being checked out you will get rude looks smirking and laughed at when asking a question about a product or they will look at you like you're dumb and talk to you like you're dumb, while they're checking you out they will demand you to take your items off the counter in a hostel way. Don't waste your time or money please don't waste your money on this place. You'll walk out probably with your jaw to the floor with how you'll be treated and talked...

Stopped in for some clothes at around 8 p.m. Had 17 items in my cart to try on, go to the fitting rooms, the kid working it has his back to me the whole time goofing off with his friends. I grabbed items out of my cart and asked if I go to any dressing room. He says yeah any room that's opened. I walk down the first row trying to turn the knobs, every one of them is locked. I walked back up the second row turning the first 5 doorknobs...all locked. He says what, they are locked? I threw the stuff back in the cart. Let him figure it out. I shop at gabes enough to know they have to uloock the doors. He doesn't know his job. Maybe the aroma of weed was stopping him from doing his job. Sorry gabes you lost out on a sale today.
