Love everything about this store! Two sisters run the place and they sure do know what they are talking about. Such a wide selection of unique buttons, flashy feathers, bridal or special costume fabrics, and so much more! They have vintage items, like literally vintage... Once it's sold, no more is made because it isn't mass produced anymore. The owners were so helpful with location of items within the store (especially when they are helping other customers before they get to you) and once they found out what my project was, they started giving me all these ideas and suggestions for materials to use! They even gave me different ideas about the assembly of the piece. Making a hair piece for my wedding day is the reason I came to this store after hearing many good things, you can't find little gems like these anymore and I know I will visit again for future projects, sewing needs, and advice! This store is a must visit, please support them because of their great selection and customer service, this is a legit fabric and supply store- much preferred over a big box supplier. Thank you ladies for all of your hard work and for keeping this wonderful store running...

Amazing Experience! Fabric as far as the eye can see -— and in some places climb! The staff is incredibly warm and helpful and you'll be glad to have an expert guide to you through their extensive selection. If you're lucky you'll bump into owner Sandy, who might be the most helpful woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! My soon to be mother-in-law and I brought in a few photos of a wedding dress we were hoping to replicate — and Sandy worked with us for 3 hours, making our vision a possibility! She even advised against her pricier fabrics and offered more affordable options for the underlays of the dress (our familiarity with buying fine fabrics in bulk is rather limited). Although she could have easily let us spend the unnecessary money she provided us with beautiful and more economic options! Sandy not only gave us helpful tips, but in some cases actually drew out how we would cut the fabric AND helped us think through how to construct a pattern. This place — along with Sandy & her staff is a complete gem! The customer service is definitely on a level you do not experience everyday. Thank you Sandy for making my Wedding...

We drove up from Florida to Aspen for the summer(June 18-22). In every location, Dallas,Denver etc we looked at "mother of the bride"hats to accompany my wife's outfit (we had pictures). No luck in Dillards', Macy's, Neiman Marcus, JCPenney, and smaller shops as well. It seems women's hats no longer has a "cachet".

Then we read about Allyn's on the internet and on a lark drove over to Englewood. What an inspired decision. Sandy, the owner, looked at the photos, asked about the season of the wedding and dove into her ample stock of hats and supplies, then fashioned a lovely pink hat with embellishments which perfectly matched my wife's outfit. Sandy is a real pro and she showed real customer service! We are so glad we found Allyn's! Now i am thinking of bringing our two daughters who will be visiting us in Colorado in August over to Allyn's to find hats for...
