I got there late because the night before at Hannibals show he told me the magic show was at the stanley, above room where is show was, the I asked the lady at the front door who was assisting with the show where it was located, she told me to go out front over two the 2nd bldg, it wad locked,I went back to the hotel and the reception desk told me it was the 3rd bldg, the post. We finally arrived about 10 minutes late, and the lady at the entrance told we had to wait til there was Break in action, after about 10 minutes we were let in the show, there was 3 pretty good performances, but most of the time was spent on 4 year old memories, teddy bear and deceased parents, and the teddy bear he carried through the foster program, about 20 minutes of drama, then later in show back to coney Island with the deceased father taking him to see Voltaire, to many boring stories and very little magic, it's boring and difficult to stay awake, I don't recommend the hotel, especially the over priced food, toughest steak in colorado, Hannibal or the...
Read moreWe were extremely excited to experience the show and it started off great. The show was entertaining and we were even participating. Upon entry, the woman letting us in told us that if we needed to get out during the show to knock on the door twice. We were then told by the person seating us that there is no re-entry. About a quarter way through the show, I had to use the restroom or would have been uncomfortable. I quietly left during a break in the show and they did not let me back in. I was left outside of the show with all of my belongings still in the room. When I asked the woman, she was rude and ignored me. My partner eventually left too when he realized I wasn’t coming back so we only got to enjoy about a half an hour of the show. You CANNOT expect people to not use the restroom for 2 hours. We wasted our money and I did not see anything about the no reentry when purchasing. Parking was a cluster and prepare to wait a while if you want a drink anywhere at The Stanley Hotel. All in all, very disappointing for the anticipation and...
Read moreI booked tickets to the seance for the Friday night show. I ended up in the emergency room for 6 hours with a blood clot in my leg. After a lot of convincing the Dr, he finally let me go at 1035. We do not know the Stanley at all. Went into the wrong building was given directions on where to go, they were way off and the whole time I'm trying so hard to walk as fast as I can and being in so much pain. We ended up getting to the right place at 1101. Doors locked. The hotel staff gave me a number to call to maybe get my money back or a new time to go. She said she thought with it being something beyond my control they'd do something for me. Not a chance 200$ down the drain, I even offered to take them my hospital discharge papers for proof. I think in some situations they should be a little more forgiving. Really disappointed. So unless you're going to die don't think for a chance that no matter how bad the situation if you're late or can't show up, kiss that...
