The cashier was not friendly AT ALL, you can tell she just didn't want to be there that day and had a bad attitude. She didn't even greet us when we walked up to the register, and actually didn't say a word the whole time other then to tell us the total. She finalized our sale without asking me to enter my phone number (for points) and when I asked her about it, she dismissed me and told me to call customer service for them to add my points. I told her I wasn't going to do that when she should have added my phone number or at least asked me if I wanted to do it myself. So I asked her to re-ring the items again so I could enter my phone number the second time. She refunded the entire transaction, grabbed my items, and put them away behind the counter. This left me without words and when she walked back to the register, I asked her why she put them away if we were purchasing the items and she was to simply re-ring me up to process my transaction correctly. She said "Oh, that's what you wanted me to do?" in a condescending tone and again, just bad attitude. At that point, I didn't even want her help anymore, so I asked her to have someone else ring me up b/c I was not going to deal with her tone and attitude anymore. Without saying a word, or apology, she grabbed my stuff and put them on someone else's register and walked away. The other girls at the register started laughing because I guess she started saying something in their headset devices about us.
I've been to this Dick's numerous times, and have NEVER had this kind of treatment. I honestly was so upset, my hands were shaking, but I was with my family and didn't want to cause a scene or waste any more time in the store by asking to speak with a manager. I understand everyone has bad days, but if she was having a bad day, it's not fair to treat others this way and she should not be taking it out on customers. Honestly, even when getting help at the footwear area, the employees just werent friendly or approachable at all. So I don't know if it's a training issue or what, but employees at this store could use more training on...
Read moreUnfortunately the soccer organization reps who were supposed to be there to assist with the necessary purchases were not (through no fault of the store). However, we were lucky to have the employees PJ and Nick help us out. They were both extremely busy with multiple customers but they both treated my daughter and I like we were the only people in the store. Both were very nice and exemplified true customer service. I wish I could say the same about the heavy set, older employee (he was riding a scooter at one point) who was rude and abrupt when my daughter asked for his help. He told her he was busy with another customer although we know he had just finished up with them because we stood to the side and waited for him to be done. I'm very glad PJ came when he did because that other associate didn't come back to the soccer area for quite a while and when he did he "ride" by he only looked at us and kept going. This was the first time I've ever been to this store and other than that particular employee I was...
Read moreThis is the first time I picked up a online order at this location. I walked towards a group of employees to get some help as I didn' know where or how to proceed. I found a female employee and she asked me about a barcode in my email, I found it and showed it. During this time I was being stared at weirdly. She said I had to scan it at the online pick up counter kiosk while pointing in a random direction. I did that and got my shoes. Later as I was walking out the sensor went off which, attracted more glares and uncertainty. Another lady came 30seconds later and said she would take off the sensor. Seriously?!? Being an online order, why wasn't this done before I walked half way out the door? Some staff here are RACIST and INCOMPETENT. They didn't acknowledge me and were standing in a group there socializing. I usually dont post reviews but this experience has been infuriating. Would NOT recommend...
