I had a very good experience with the jeweler Kevin, he understood my style and was on point with his suggestions and guidance. I was very clear we had hit the upper end of our budget and he was very accommodating... but when my fiance went to pick up the ring we had paid for, he was surprised with another $100 fee for setting the stone. We had thought this was factored into the "final" price, which we paid in full at time of ordering. Its an absolutely gorgeous ring, I love it, but it puts a bad taste in my mouth to think my sweet fiance had to shell out another $100 to bring my ring home to me when we had already hit our budget limit. I hate to think of his good nature being taken advantage of. I wish they had let us know ahead of time, or even that we still had a balance when they called to tell us our ring was ready. Amateur jewelry buyers beware. We were told we were buying an aquamarine ring my Maggie, but we actually bought a crystal that was colored blue. Had I known what I know now about gems I would have passed on the $109 fake Aqua ring. After emailing Kevin ( presumed manager) and leaving a list of details about time spent in the store, things we talked about to jog his memory, he replied: I don't know what your talking about. If Kevin would have shown the slightest interest in making things right I would have continued trying to avoid utilizing social media, bureaus, and warning the world. I will never spend another penny at this store and I hope you do your research before you spend your hard earned dollars at Abraxas. Next stop... Better business bureau to report unfair business practices...

Kevin is a complete and total douchebag ! He should no more be interacting with the public than I should be a rocket scientist ! He can’t even handle a simple phone conversation informatively. I had to make an over 50 mile trip to retrieve about $900 in gold jewelry when it became apparent that I was dealing with an incompetent ! It was a simple replacement of a lobster claw clasp which he bungled so badly from the very beginning that I felt my chain and crucifix were in danger of God knows what .
