Personally from my own experience DSW was a great sore to shop at. With different shoes different styles different brands overwhelming styles to choose from. I agree with one of the commenters Katie B who made the comment about 9 months ago saying how hostile and rude the manager is and how the employees are all the same. To me and my experience .the employees are all the same they have their own little clicks. They talk about you behind your back. With the manager. I literally called the store yesterday because I needed something to be taken care of and then when I had one of the workers direct me to the manager she literally hung up on my face. But I didn't pay no mind because that's just the way of the world now, that's just the kind of world we're living in people are uptight rude we're living in the world where times have changed and people aren't nice like they used to be, used to be a time where people were nice and respectful to one another. I don't know what change or what happened except I can say the times have changed. Nowadays everybody's uptight w everywhere you go everybody's uptight, it seems like people don't have respect for each other nowadays. But it's okay because I'm learning people for their true colors now. I'm seeing people for who they really are, even your co workers are not your friends, not even your co workers are your friends, cuz they can and will stab you behind your back. I'm learning people for their true colors for who they really are. I hope that management can change one day and there can be a huge change in that store. I will not call any names for respect but I hope one day that management and the staff hopefully one day there will be a huge change and there will be new management...
Read moreWorst time here.tje kid cashier refused to use my VIP #. also FLAT OUT REFUSED TO ENTER THE DISCOUNT CODE. then when I went back to work (I work 50 feet from the place). I threw my old sneakers out.and when putting on the new ones I bought therlectronic theft prevent things was on them.i had to go back and have him remove it, which made me late getting back from break time. Then stupid sneakers were too small, after standing for 6 hours they hurt my feet, but I got paint on them so I couldn't exchange them, DSW I contacted they gave me a $10 credit. So The next day I went into buy a new pair. I talked to the person who called me back from DSW support , gave me the little discount, said all I have to do is do purchased through my app on my phone, I'll get the extra discount I can pick up the shoes and as little as 3 hours. Went back in to pick up their shoes they told me they ship them to an address or I no longer live?? Contacted support again, told her my problem I do not live at the address where you ship them, why would I have them ship there when I do not live there ? She said sorry there's nothing I can do because I had the box check to ship to my old address?? But in 3 days later they finally gave me my money back.. 3 days for something so simple, and yes I was a bit heated.. then the DSW customer support representative hangs up on me? My advice skip this place go to a place that goes with the heck...

She acts like customers intrude on her personal life, and treats them with disrespect, which is also noticed by the employees working for her. They act all happy and such when you are purchasing something, but flip a switch when you ask for a return or a refund. I’ve lost countless coupons, including the most recent one: $30 off $49. Once you return an item bought with a coupon, they make it seem like they are doing YOU a favor by letting you use the coupon again with another shoe. I tried to be civil, and picked out a shoe that apparently “wasn’t eligible for the discount” and that happened with multiple pairs. The manager doesn’t specify which shoes CAN work. When one is trying to understand just why these things occur, the staff and their manager just raise their voices and refuse to speak on the matter further.
