I have gotten several things from Aaron's in the past and had no issue...reccomended them to others but no more.....I purchase a recliner online, when it finally arrived the electric leg lift mechanism didn't work. It was never sat in. It was taken back to the store and I was brought a different style recliner...really comfy so I kept that one...within several months the one of mechanism steel rod broke and the material started to wear.......they took it to fix it after several phone calls telling me it was no longer under factory warranty and they would have to cover the cost of repair....about 4-5 weeks later I got it back.....anyway it was an on going issue...broke again....most recently last week broke again. Spoke with previous manager & manager, I am tired of dealing with this...paying 100.00 a month for a part time chair. I found out that there was a weight limit for the chair (which i already knew and had nothing to do with furniture shopping) and they felt this would be the only appropriate item for my weight. Things from there just got more and more upsetting and I do believe I should get a full refund but they refuse that but be aware you may not get what you want from them if you don't meet the weight standards.........I wanted to say one more thing about Aaron's.....after everything that went on that I listed above they did something very unexpected but very impressive to me. Even though I had paid for all but 200.00 left on the recliner with all the problems..I don't have the recliner but they did close out my account on my computer I was paying on. Read moreI'm giving a mid-range review. Because I was able to get the things I wanted to get even with the financial struggles. I've been having and having to have returned a bunch of things in the past due to that. But my account with them has never gone into the negative. However, the reason for the not completely positive review Is I got the Xbox back and I got another preleased one When I got the stuff back that II wanted to get, and I had before. I got a pre leased switch, didn't have the HDMI preleased Xbox didn't have some of the chords. The controller was jankety, then they gave me a third party one that kept disconnecting, saying it was an unregistered controller. Finally got a working controller. And now, the Xbox continues to shut off, and it keeps giving me a overheating. Error and I'm pretty sure the fan went out on it. I called them a couple times about an hour or so before they close and all I get is automated message saying that I can't talk to anybody or something like that right now. So I'm a little flustered, because now I get to go the whole weekend without my entertainment. I've had continuous problems when it comes to preleased. Electronics from them, but anything I've gotten new, has been great. And I will admit that overall experience and interaction with staff. Personally, I haven't had any issues. He was MUCH better to deal with then the Fargo manager. It took far too much to get it that far. But it was fixed Original post :Never Again. I've had several accounts through Aaron's over the past ten years. My last one was a bed purchase for just under $2000, within 6 months the bed was starting to sag and we called. They came and "adjusted" the box springs but it only got worse. A year later the bed is slanted and sagging by almost 5 inches. Aaron's refuses to do ANYTHING and blames the corporate office. The mattress company said this should have been done in 30 days while arrons gives me a timeline of 120 days or more! The manager gets more rude every time we call and even though he is aware I have MS and have had 12 hospital visits over this mattress, he just says "I'll get back to you in a month or so".
