Rising Bread Co — Restaurant in Fargo

So I hate posting bad reviews, because I understand there is stuff that can happen. It happens so frequently at this place though, so it's super frustrating. Today I was looking for a quick meal, so I stopped at the counter. I was told by an employee that they needed 5 minutes to restock. Which is fine, so I ran and did the other shopping I needed to do which took about 10-15 minutes. I came back, and it was a different employee at the counter who was texting on her phone. She finally looked up long enough to tell me the whole staff was going to be another 15 minutes to restock. Has the time to text, but not help a paying customer. I find that terrible. Sad part is this isn't even the 1st time this has happened, but I normally let it slide because I love their food. Unfortunately it has been so terrible as of late, that I don't even think I will...

Rising Bread Company is in the food court at the mall. I ordered a turkey mushroom sandwich. The turkey , mushrooms and cheese and bread were freshly grilled in fronto of me. Then I could choose my own veggies and sandwich toppings. I also got a fountain drink and a side house salad. And I could choose the veggies for my salad. My total was about 15 dollars, not bad. The sandwich came with potato chips and a pickle. I didn't like the styrofoam containers and Styrofoam so bad for environment so I do wish Rising Bread Co. could have better more eco friendly packaging than Styrofoam. My usual favorites there are the grilled cheese or a taco wrap but the turkey mushroom sandwich was good. You really can't go wrong with this place and they have soups too and offer soup in a bread bowl. Also fresh lemonade...

This is a very out of the ordinary experience for me, today (4/5/25) I went up to the almost empty line and who I thought was a customer was taking a long time just chatting with the gentleman taking orders, I not long after found out was also an employee. A female employee walked over and made a comment to the guy taking orders about less talking. After another minute or so, the guy in front of me walked away and went to the area behind the counter. The guy took my order, then while preparing my order burnt my bread, when he packaged it up, I paid in cash and he threw my coins on top of my box and walked away.

I have always really enjoyed raising bread co, but when I started eating my food I noticed a long hair in my food. I ended up throwing my food away because of the burnt slices then...
