I've read a couple of reviews placed before mine stating poor quality, negative service levels from sales reps, or a chair being delivered out of the back of someone's car.
After my experience with the Leather Sofa Company (Marty) I must say these responses are one of two things A) Reviews on maybe another store with similar name or B) written by a competitor's store wishing to blemish the reputation of a competitor. So, let me tell you my experience..... Marty was incredible. His excitement for the product he sells is genuine. Remarkably he is just as excited about the sale AFTER YOU'VE TAKEN DELIVERY. My sofa was delivered by a newer company owned box truck. The two men who delivered it were very careful with my purchase and there was a ridiculous amount of wrapping and protection while in transit. Entire delivery process was truly EXCEPTIONAL.
Now the product---what it's all really about anyways right? WOW. WOW. WOW. Sadly in modern times....I am rarely "wowed" by anything.
The presence of my couch superseded my expectations. The quality and feel of the leather superseded my expectations. The stitching reminds me of what you would expect to see on the interior of an Aston Martin Vanquish. Again superseding my expectations. And the comfort of the couch was more than I could have hoped for.
I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've never taken the time to jump on Google and leave a vendor positive reviews. It's something I should do more often.
What inspired me to write a review this time(first time) was that I was reading people's reviews that were simply not in line with A) the overall feel of doing business, or B) the quality of the product of The Leather Sofa Company. Both of which led to the best investment I've made in years.
If I had to leave you with one warning though it will be this. 2 things: First you WILL want another chair/sofa from them. And finally you will find it EXTREMELY HARD to find furniture of the same quality as your couches. It just simply isn't there---unless you hire a master carpenter to build you furniture--- which is essentially what these couches are.

Read moreOn August 31, 2013, we visited The Leather Sofa for the first time. We met Marty and Mitch and were amazed by Marty's testimonial about their leather. We ordered right on the spot. Our sofa and sofa chaise was delivered two weeks ago. We were impressed by the beautiful leather and how the piece looks perfectly in our living room. We couldn't be happier. We love our leather sofas. However, there were nicks/cuts on the surface of the leather on the back of the sofas near the zipper, some were behind the cushions and the redo needle marks by the seam. I contacted Marty on the day of delivery. He did came out a week later and inspected it. After a week, Marty and Mitch said there is nothing to fix due to the nicks/cuts are not in the front and will only recover the cushions. We are appreciated that the cushions can be recovered but disappointed how there is nothing can be done to the nicks/ cuts because one is like 1/4 of an inch near the seam and zipper and another one shaped like "V" 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. These are not naturally markings on the hide. What we do now is trust and hope that the markings will last and we will not be disappointed down the road. Thank you very much...
Read moreBecause of the Covid-19 outbreak, our order was postponed several weeks. Though we were disappointed, we understood.
Finally we were informed the sofa was ready to be delivered. We were understandably excited. But when it was delivered, it was not the right color. So I called the store asking what I was to do. We had the option of using the furniture until it was put right or sending it back. I chose to send it back.
The next day Seth called and asked what was the issue and I told him my sample was marked the same name as the furniture delivered, but it wasn't the right color.. Seth saw the sample with the name on the back mismarked and was gracious and most accommodating in sending in a new order which has just arrived. Though my sample was more expensive than the one made up, the company only charged me for the price of the previous order.
I cannot say enough about the integrity of the family who owns this company and the quality of their employees with whom I dealt. I so appreciate their values.
We have had this furniture less than a week and love it. It is so well made and extremely comfortable
