My recent purchasing/delivery experience has been the worst I've ever endured with a billion dollar retail giant such as Nordstrom. I went to purchase shoes on 6 May 2023. They didn't have my size, so the Nordstorm salesperson ordered the shoes for me online. THAT'S THE BEGINNING OF MY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Nordstorm picks the delivery company, not the customer. After several days, I didn't receive my package. I checked the shipping company (Lone Star Overnight) and Nordstorm website for an update. LSO website showed the package was delivered, and they submitted information to Nordstorm to indicate the package had been LOST. I have submitted records to show my package was never delivered to my location. I have continuously received Nordstorm emails stating that no refund would be given when the carrier reported delivered and the package lost on the same day at the same exact time in two different cities. Nordstrom's website even shows the package as LOST. I have screenshots to prove this information. There's no way possible a package can be delivered in one city and reported lost in another city at the same time. I will reach out to the Better Business Bureau, create social media posts, provide negative reviews, and get legal representation if someone's willing to take my case. The treatment I've received has been totally unacceptable, and they've placed the blame on me as a loyal customer and military veteran for the missing package and loss. As of yesterday, I have the screenshot from the Nordstorm website yesterday, 23 May 2023, which is still showing the package as shipped and "LOST."
Also, LSO had an "F" rating on the Better Business Bureau website with over 1,500 complaints in the last 3 years.

I have returned items via mail using their return label.Ā More than 10 had never been credited.Ā I had saved all the tracking information so was credited for all except 1 that I couldn't find.Ā I asked them to do research and reiterated that I used THEIR return label and got their "dear john" letter stating sorry we did research and we're not refunding you.Ā Even though the other returns that I proved were returned were credited, they won't take my word that I returned the item or do their own research in the system to see the tracking information.Ā It doesn't make any sense.Ā Why send a return label for a customer and not keep the data on file. I use to shop at Nordstrom because of their amazing customer service.Ā Unfortunately it's clear they do not value their customers like they use to and I am sick of being treated like a number when I'm spending my hard earned money at such a high end store. This is my 3rd time visiting and it was only when I agreed to sign up for a store credit card that everything shifted to a 5 star experience.
