My Review!
I really would like to enjoy this place, but they make it really quite hard. Iâm a regular customer, and they have an excellent selection of transformers, my main hobby. They are really the only ones in the area that have such a wide range of stock. They are also quite high priced, but every once in a while you can find a treasure. I know that they are running a business, but that isnât really an excuse to treat a regular customer as poorly as they do. They actually got really mad at me last time I tried to make a deal on a couple items to get one or two bucks off. Just earlier today I tried to do trade a g1 transformer, and I couldnât get them to do any kind of trade that wasnât downright scamming me. That was really frustrating. If you like toys and video games, check this place out, but donât expect the kind of premium respect and kindness that you would think for the premium prices. By the way, if the staff are reading this, a massive portion of my money has gone to you guys and I literally only get paid through allowance money. Surely you can respect a 13-year-old vintage transformers collector? ^ This review was written about a year ago. I didnât end up publishing it because I felt bad. I just spoke with them again today. I no longer feel bad. I tried to trade an assortment of armada mini-cons for store credit. They again gave me a low offer, even for a reseller. Throughout our conversation they repeatedly tried to talk with my mom, who was also there, instead of me, knowing that I was the one doing the deal. This illustrates my point about how they clearly donât respect a returning customer, regardless of how young I am. I was told that the products I was trading were rather common and were abundant in the storeâs stock; however, I would like to mention that what I was offering is worth far more than much of the storeâs larger stock, and would take up far less room. I donât know why I continue to visit this store, considering that other local sellers treat me far better. Shout out to Mr. Scott at âSlippeyâs Toysâ and Mr. Tim at the T&W Flea Market. Btw yâall I still get payed with mostly...
Read moreAbsolutely gorgeous transformer selection. Got a few of my grails and the organization is the stuff of folklore. Incredibly easy to navigate. Staff was 50/50 with the two I interacted with. I didnât manage to catch their names but one gentleman definetly deserves a raise. Just seemed eager to help and made some small talk. Might have helped that he was also clearly an avid transformers fan. Though I had to come back to the counter afterward to ask for a couple other figures and interacted with another guy. He was significantly less friendly and it felt more like he was annoyed I was in the store. Felt kind of standoffish and made things a little awkward. But Iâm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt cause we all have off days. I also wouldnât recommend selling things to them. They tend to lowball over the slightest problem with a toy. I tried to trade in a backpack full of figures last year easily worth $100+ and was offered just $50-60 if I remember. I still traded them since I wasnât too attached to the figures but just fair warning. Overall decent experience. Just. Donât come in expecting to make big bucks when you trade stuff and maybe hold off till the last second to...
Read moreOh my gosh we're to start OK for s t off the owners is very friendly and has a killer mustash and is very knowledgeable and can help you if yah have any questions or if you want to sell stuff back and is very fair. I had a blast looking back at some old transformers and toys my father grew up in and only told me what they looked like but being a kid either lost them or grew out of them. To be able to look and see what he saw a s a child is truly spectacular. And for myself for some transformers figures I thought were long discontinued I found again ! It made me so happy I could be a kid again. And plus it's just cool to browse around d just to look at the huge collection he has in store. Don't be afraid to call or ask questions. Highly recommended if your interested in toys form the 90s 80s and 2000's and even recent...
