Flagstaff General Store — Local services in Flagstaff

I went to the Flagstaff General on Tuesday October 2, 2018. The person i spoke to was Cheyenne who was at the front of the store. My wife purchased a $60 pillow from this store. Its not very bright in the store so she didn’t notice the stains. She never got a receipt from the store. Once i saw the pillow had numerous stains i intended to swap it out for the same pillow. Especially since it was a $60 pillow. The pillow also has strings that kept falling off. When we got to the store and explained that it had multiple stains Cheyenne instantly rolled her eyes at us. Not a big deal but definitely not professional or curtious. She said she wasn’t going to do anything for us because “people come in and take stuff all the time.” Not sure how that applied? Long story short Cheyenne stated “I’m the general manager and i have no supervisor other than the owner So there’s was nothing you can do.” I asked for a phone number i can call she refused to give me any info. She denied our request to even swap the pillow out though it had all the tags still intact. Cheyenne laughed at us when we were clearly upset by this. My wife and i planned on buying more items from here but will no longer be customers, EVER. I’ve never experienced more unprofessional and rude customer service at the downtown shops which are known to be pretty sincere here in flagstaff. There are plenty of other shops i would reccomend you go to before here. I would leave zero stars on here if i could given our experience but it requires one...

I spent a couple days in Flagstaff to do Humphrey’s Peak. I was looking for some peak stickers. I found them at this wonderful store. Talked to Regan, who was so helpful, sweet and very friendly! I had a great experience the next couple days I went in the store. I also got a great T-shirt and some rings. It’s a great store with wonderful employees and lots of treasures! Bought a candle from here and it won't stay lit. Looked a little closer, and the "wick" is literally a popsicle stick... this can't be serious. The wick isn't even big enough to burn the candle down evenly. I can't return it because we've already started trying to burn it. Spent way too much on a candle that doesn't even work.
