Seems like there are enough comments about the rude and condescending bald guy for his behavior to have actually been addressed. Hopefully he’s receiving the feedback and has some sort of action plan in place for improvement on his attitude. A person like this could really drive folks away and into coffee shops with much kinder, more considerate staff. Immediately after walking in, I felt there was a customer service issue with tone/body language and a lack of acknowledgment. My husband asked for a cappuccino with oat milk & the bald gentleman proceeded to engage in semantics with him over why oat milk couldn’t produce a dry cappuccino. He actually volunteered that this would produce a very wet cappuccino. I suppose his barista expertise was somehow offended by the request and required him to have the last word because he continued making remarks after my husband said he never has an issue with this order at other shops. My husband is an avid coffee drinker with culinary experience. He’s the last person to need a food science explanation of dairy separation in coffee preparation. My husband proceeded to wait for his order by standing back against the wall that faces the hanging menu board where only one other prospective patron stood in front of him waiting to place their order. The same gentleman that was personally offended by the oat milk request made it a point to say that the coffee would be coming out on the other side which came across as doubling down on the already negative behavior. Both he and the young woman who was doing side work and could absolutely not be bothered should probably find something else to do with their time. It’s clear customer service doesn’t matter to either of them. Hopefully, that’s not the truth for the entirety of...

In addition to your answer. The harsh tone of your answer explains why the staff is rude. You should stop this job. With bad coffee and rude and aggressive behaviors from you and your staff, the customers will leave anyway. At 4.45 pm, your rude staff started to hit the chairs. The chair is turned upside down after the customer leaves. Anyway, let me teach you this. I think you need training on how to treat the customer ! /////// There were customers drinking coffee at a few tables inside. But to throw all the customers out, the blonde waitress turns the chairs upside down on the table in a loud and rude way, as if she were throwing them at your head. There was more, especially the blonde tall waitress started looking at everyone with a frown. And you hurriedly collect your things just to get out without getting beaten. And you don't have to put up with everything for a bad coffee. It was my first time here. And I invited a guest. Frankly, I was very embarrassed in front of my guest. For the bad coffee and the rude behavior we saw. And we quietly ran out. I will never come back. I didn't know they would close at 5pm. Which is interesting. They could at least remind you gently when you order the coffee. It would be nice to have a...

Late for the Train in downtown Flagstaff is a hidden gem that combines a warm atmosphere, superb coffee, and delicious food. My breakfast experience here was nothing short of delightful.

The ambience is a perfect blend of cozy and vibrant, creating a welcoming space to start your day. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience.

Speaking of coffee, the brew at Late for the Train is exceptional. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a morning pick-me-up, they have you covered. The menu offers a variety of options, and each sip is a testament to their commitment to quality.

As for the food, my breakfast was a culinary delight. The menu is thoughtfully crafted with diverse choices to suit various preferences. The flavors were on point, and the presentation added to the overall satisfaction.

Late for the Train has undoubtedly become my go-to spot for a perfect breakfast in Flagstaff. The friendly staff, inviting ambience, and top-notch coffee and food make it a must-visit. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!

Coffee only review visited 5/23 1pm: Short review: nice stout coffee. Just know if they make an error with your coffee don't expect it to be fixed. Enjoy drinking a cinnamon coffee you didn't order and not the hazelnut latte you paid $6 for. Long Review: We ordered 2 hot 16oz lattes: one hazelnut and the other plain. We ended up getting two plain lattes. I stir both just to see if maybe the hazelnut was hiding...but they tasted exactly the same. Just a side note...I don't order a complicated drink. It literally is just a latte with hazelnut syrup...no special milks... no special sugars. That's it. We let them know that both lattes were prepared the same. Not a big deal just asked to get the hazelnut added in. They took the latte and gave it two pumps of something.... But let me tell you it definitely was not hazelnut. It literally tasted like a cinnamon latte. So I ended up drinking something I didn't order and really didn't like. I would be hesitant to go to this location again.
