It has been a minute since I have been to Las Olas so it was nice to walk around and see some new to me businesses. One of the pleasant surprises was Las Olas Kollective near El Camino. I have previously been to other Kollective locations in the Sistrunk Marketplace in Ft. Lauderdale, Wynwood Kollective, and the Delray Beach Kollective on Atlantic Avenue.
According to the Kollective website "Since co-pioneering the internationally renowned art district called Wynwood in Miami, Florida in 2003, artist and community leader Joshua Tiktin has been helping his fellow creators and entrepreneurs expand their reach and elevate their careers. His co-op style galleries and boutiques have housed over 300 artists, fashion designers, crafters, and retailers in numerous locations since 2003."
This is such a unique store on Las Olas and different than anything else offered on the boulevard. The store is like an Etsy shop made up of a collection of local artists selling soap, jewelry, candles, sunglasses, clothes, handbags, accessories, art, wind chimes, and other handmade treasures. Also each vendor/artisan take different working shifts, so you will get to meet each person whether they are artisans or have curated their collection.
